hello brother, nice video, can i have some pointers for all of us,.... Scenario1:. Need not to crack open the Inlet steam valve, make it full open position same with the Outlet steam valve of Fuel oil heater, let alone the the temperature controller control the set point temperature of fuel oil. (Condition: Inlet /Outlet , temperature control valve no leak) Scenario 2: In case temperature control valve are leaking or the controller set point are lagging please control the set temp. at steam outlet valve not in steam inlet valve. ( procedure has to be done this way for easy isolation of steam and to avoid fatigue/damage to inlet steam valve seat or during steam heater maintenance) If a controller has a delayed response you may send it ashore for recalibration or if the valve are leaking change it with new or reconditioned spare on board if available.... Thank you so much for the information and ideas Sir. ❤ Maybe that will apply to some of the heaters on board not to Purifier Heater. Because if we fully open the inlet valve of Purifier heater the temperature will rise and alarm for High Temperature Fuel oil will occurs.
It is used for opening and closing the bowl of purifier as well as sealing Sir. Opening of bowl means discharging sludge and closing the bowl for purification process.
After you lined up and open the necessary valves for operating the purifier and set the temperature setting Sir Start the feed pump. In some ship feed pump is separate and its not coupled to the purifier motor, Starting the feed pump or purifier starter motor the fuel will go to the heater for heating and going back to Settling tank. If the temperature is at the setting you set (98°C usually) start or push the auto start of Purifier.
Usually, is goes to the sludge tank, eventually transfers to the BOT or bilge oil tank, then transfer the waste oil tank, where in it will be incinerated by the incinerator
Operating water is for opening and closing the bowl sir, Opening of bowl for discharging and Closing the bowl for purification. Sealing is to provide separation line or interface between two liquids.
Would you explain about backpressure And where are we can found place of that bypass/fo flow adjustment valve? And how much the pressure on inlet and outlet valve of purifier?
Pwede naman po applicable lang po yun kapag nagpalit ka ng main seal ring or pilot valve o-rings para maexercise at maglapat masyado ang seal ring sa main cylinder. Pero samin after auto start saka mag discharge test. Para malaman kung walang leaking at talagang nag didischarge.
