I am somewhat new, I'm around level 80 now. But I ran events from the very start. Im sitting pretty comfortable now. I also got around 2500K Gold Bullion during that time as well. Definitely join up with teams and do events as a newer player if you're reading this. F076 isnt like other MMO'S, you have nothing to fear.

Yeah, death in the game has very little consequence. And in events, none at all.

Regardless of level, join a casual team or event team and do all the events ... as long as there is someone else to help. High levels dont expect much help from anyone below level 70ish so dont worry about it. Everyone has to start somewhere.

Very true, although Earl at level 14 may have been a bit too ambitious LOL.

Cheers! It's not immediately obvious when you first start playing the game how you can get good legendaries, maybe this will help some newer players.

To me, what doesn't seem suitable is changing different class on the fly as you mentioned around the 3 minutes mark. My perks (and I imagine others do the same as well) are groups based on the the type of weapons I carry on me, so that when I switch from one to the other, I do not need to shuffle the perks accordingly as this would not be possible most times. If I am carrying a flame thrower, then I am carrying other heavy weapons as well. A really good general use heavy weapon is the Cryolator with the right perks (shooting an additional projectile and wep speed, etc.). I think the smarter grouping of weapons makes the biggest difference. If you have a weapon that shoots straight, then you need a weapon that fires using an arch, like the grenade launcher so you can get the targets that are behind objects which a straight shooting wep wouldn't be able to get. Another smart grouping would be is having a med to long range wep and also one or more for close range. Knowing what weps has the "higher than fired" ammo return, would help a lot to those who are not able to produce lots of ammo. Cryolator is such a wep in the "heavy" category. My Prime Marksman Bow is another in the "Assault" category where I can start with 40 arrows and after 20 minutes of engaging (almost exclusively VATS), I could easily end up with 3 times that amount. Shotguns in general is another good wep. Explosive weps from what I have seen are one of the worst in ammo return.

Yeah, perks are important but one reason I didn't talk about them is that at low levels you're going to be mostly having random perks and enemies don't require too much min-maxing. Long term yeah, it's very useful to use weapon damage boosting perks and focus on classes of weapons, e.g. heavy, rifleman/commando. But just having a few good weapons is one of the most important things early on, even if you haven't min-maxed.

It's all cool but.. Where to find place to store all that legendaries, got like 70 weapons on me and 40 more in storage, just 1 eviction notice will get you daily limit in scrip exchange) Have to create mule for sure, can't play normaly cause of it, have to use almost all perks for - weight. I wish Bethesda make 1k scrip limit per day, not 500 P.S. Apart from ways how to get legendaries stated in a video, good idea is to browse player's vendor machines. In few days of jumping from server to server i got full set of unyielding armor (random 3 star armor types) for just 2500-3000 caps total, same with quad railway rifle with 15 ap replenish with each kill. Just be aware, some bases are trap bases, so store your junk loot before you go to players camps

Weight saving perks is a very important factor. I covered how I'm able to carry so much in a previous video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w7xVcgLRk1g.html. I'm also pretty much using all the weight saving perks. But I also throw away any one or two star legendary and anything that's too heavy. It's not worth carrying a whacker smacker, even if it's three stars. IMHO it's very important to get over the mindset of trying to keep everything. As someone who's a complete kleptomaniac in games that was damn hard to do LOL. Basically your stash should be a few power armour frames for PA pieces to sell, armour that you're waiting to re-roll, weapons you want to keep or reroll, and some critical junk like hardened mass. No ammo, junk, or food in your stash.

@@SequentialGamerFallout ha. Got same idea in weight organization, I never carry something heavier than 5lb, and same goes for 1-2 star weapons. Also PA frames are really good for storing legendary pieces of pa. 225 scrip from one fully loaded. And still. I think mule is a must have, gonna buy 2-nd copy of fo76. Got some budged laptop which can run fo76 in 30 frames) 5 new characters, 6200 lb of storage and main character on pc

@@Andrew_Li_O Fair enough, I guessed I was talking with a fellow kleptomaniac LOL. You get 5 characters IIRC, so you should be able to use them as mules without buying a second copy of the game.

I have mixed feelings on this. I feel like you missed 2 big ones. When I first hit 50 on a new character, I'll head to Murmurgh and get her 3* armor pieces until I have a decent set. If I'm doing a high health build, unyeilding and bolstering go in my vending machine, low health and Vandguards goes in. Things like chameleon, weightless, or Aristocrat's go right back into the scrip machine. Anything that reduces damage from a specific enemy type is good enough for while I'm saving the bullion for the good sets and waiting for Minerva's next sale. In the meantime tho, I'll be checking player vendors for better pieces than what I have. This approach generally keeps me in a significantly better position than crossing my fingers and praying RNGsus is with me.
@SequentialGamerFallout

Yes, checking player vendors is something that can be very profitable. I've never found anything close to a true god roll but I have found some useful weapons. The problem is that I was always short on cash from buying plans at the early levels LOL. I've also used the random item option at the Rusty Pick two or three times. But I agree that it might give you a good legendary. I would've recommended that before the new events came along, but IMHO the new events give you better rewards for the time you. Once you've got something like Western Spirit then you can just go for trying for godrolls. Good points IMHO, and yeah they're definitely options.

@Lordoftheapes79

@@chrisrichar2379 maintaining a viable cap level without ignoring half the game. 30k caps is an unsustainable number when you're dealing in things worth 10k-25k. That said, if they increased the cap limit so that 30k wasn't so close to the ceiling my opinion of it would completely reverse.

@@SequentialGamerFallout I was actually referring specifically to armor. No, you won't find god roll weapons in vendors often. There are more people than you realize searching vendors for these every day to resell on the black market. When I put one up for sale, it's gone in just a couple hours. I actually started typing while you were talking about new players hitting 50 for the first time and struggling to keep up with the scaling. It's rarely about the weapon(because of basically everything you talked about in the video), it's almost always because of their armor. They don't realize that non-legendary modded level 50 armor is literally 5x better than that level 30 legendary piece they've been wearing for 2 weeks. You don't need a matching set unless you're using...the legendary perks that boost fire or poison resistance(totally brainfarting their names). The big thing players like yourself tend to forget, is that none of the best armor in the game is tradable and can take weeks, if not months to farm and we're not even talking about rolling the legendary stats on them. Farming that 400 bullion a day, isn't realistic for most people. I was like you until a couple months ago when I started over on playstation so I could play with a friend. On PC, I had rolled my perfect set of gear so long ago that I didn't realize how much of a struggle it could be. Especially, now that you're rolling for PA too, there just aren't enough cores to go around. Getting a decent set from Murmurgh can go a long way and easily carry you until you gather the other stuff. You won't be god mode and you'll still be using a heafty number of stimpacks, but it's better than getting murdered non-stop.

@@Lordoftheapes79 Yeah, I agree with pretty much what you're saying. Particularly on the point about just using whatever pieces were better instead of going for a complete set. Personally when I was coming up I just tended to use power armour for the tougher events and daily ops. I got mine by just collecting random pieces from events like Eviction Notice. Just the inherent damage reduction goes a long way. Same with normal armour, I just picked up whatever pieces from events. Just random stuff is surprisingly useful. It's definitely an option to randomly buy your first legendary armour pieces from the Rusty PIck if people are finding it rough to survive.
