I’m a new player. about too months in and I had some help from higher level players. Now I’m helping new players when we team up dropping so much loot 😂😂😂 I’m a ps5 player
Your information is easy to follow and your sense of humor is wonderful! "that's the proper way a tech would do it. But we're dumb ass Vault Dwellers so.."
I started playing right around the time you released this video, and it helped me understand a lot about the game. Sometimes, the "chance" rewards from the daily events are more reliable than the dedicated badge/quest rewards.
They're very common, scorched typically drop them. But you can check Sam Blackwell's bunker, there should be one there. Re the syringer, there's only one type of syringer. It sounds like you've either run into a bug or something else killed them.
They should REALLY start cycling new plans through her because I've watched all the same stuff I aleady have cycle through way too often. There is tons of stuff they could do to especially with past scoreboard items like the other gold bullion traders added to their stock.
Ive only been playing for around a month, how often does she show up and how quickly can I go from discovering the crater to buying from her....do I have to work on reputation with the crater first or something? I have some bullion but never used it before, is it only for her or can I buy from others using the bullion?
Gold is only used at gold vendors at the Crater, Foundation, and Vault 79. Minerva's a special vendor who offers different items on a rotating basis but in exchange her prices are lower. She shows up every couple of weeks or so.
she comes back every other week, but then also has a "big sale" every 4, which is just a rerun of the past months sales in case you miss any, before those items are gone for a long while
You can buy from vendors of fundation, crater and vault 79 you can go to crater without having reputation, just a couple of raiders will attack you but they are in an advance post, just skip that place, you can exchange 400 of gold every day but in the wayward theres a guy that sale gold for caps 300 for 6000(i dont recomend it unless you have a lot of caps and nothing to buy with it) he restore all his gold every week, minerva normaly takes one ore two wekends before she comes back again, and after like four times of that, she will have something like a big sale with everything she sold before and a couple of new items, so only buy what you really need, also some of the items she brings you can have it free in the daily ops, so choose wisely
The deep pocket mods for armor are only useful, IF you play with it. I use PA. When entering, regular armor will be removed. So you loose the pocket mods and the pieces go into your backpack. So you loose 50 carryweight and have additional 20 carryweight for the armor pieces. IF you are using PA, the Ultralightweight is better. You don't overload your char, and when entering your PA, you only adds some pounds to your inventory. That makes the difference of flying, sprinting and fasttravelling or be overweight.
Nothing you said is incorrect! However, I think it's important to mention that both Excavator, as well as Union PA both offer native weight capacity increases. Stack that with Calibrated Shocks, and it more than offsets the difference. Of course, utilizing your strategy AND my previously mentioned one will ultimately result in optimal carry weight when switching to PA 🤘
@Evokyr I'm the opposite, I'm seldom in my PA. The only situation I see that would necessitate non-pa would be running out of fusion cores in the middle of an event or something 🤔 Otherwise it would certainly min/max carry weight to avoid non-pa entirely 🤘
Was logging to say same about ultra light, I use power armor for events mainly or to enter nuke zone other times use armor, so if you do a split build like this you would always put on ultra light mod to armor. Also any armor you save in stash to keep long term like unyielded, overeaters, revival put ultra light on these to save stash space.
@@Evokyr I use PA in the swamp area, Watoga, or when i do events with others. PA gives more defense. And i use Excavator armor with cal. shocks, and got overweight, cause i loose my packback, too, when i switch to PA.
Plasma Caster is the perfect companion for a flamer/Holy Fire build to let you get tags from a distance or for crippling scorchbeast queens. Anti-Armor or Instigating seem to work best for that purpose. Highly recommend!
You aren't wrong but plasma caster also really needs a crit vats build to support it properly and I didn't like how that increased fusion core drain in my PA. I like my trusty gatling gun.
@D_Da_Tree Yes, but Civil Engineer Jetpack Torsos are bought with Stamps, but totally tradable, and imo one of the better non-bound armor sets out there...
I may be mistaken, but if you're referring to the "Alaskan Winter Camo" paint, I'm fairly certain it was a Scoreboard reward about a year ago. Not 100%, but I do believe all my SS paints were Scoreboard/Season rewards...
If you want camp paint, there is some on bethesdas support ticket list. Go to the support page, then billing, atoms for yourself, then concel and select through what you want. And yeah done. All you have to do is wait a month and have the atoms in your account waiting
PA jetpacks technically aren't worse than armor based ones they work exactly the same. Weight is a factor. While weight doesn't directly effect the jetpack functionality, it effects both forward and downward momentum. Basically, while in PA, there's more drag than when you're not in PA. But, because it's a videogame and not real life, your computer takes an extra millisecond or two to apply it. So, if you can get the timing just right, you can subvert it 😂
@@therealnecromancer1231 it's your brain. More specifically, the shift in perspective. Someone watching you jump would see you jump the exact same height.
You do not need to be part of the Enclave to get the nuclear keycards, that's just the cheapest/easiest and most reliable way. This season you can get a few as a seasonal unlock, however you can also occasionally find them as corpse loot and sometimes a player might have some up for sale. And yes, I am talking about the key cards, not the code pieces.
If you have a Fallout 76 membership and survival tent, all I do after an event when I am over encumbered due to Legendary loot, is I dump my Steamrifle ammo and or any other ammo I am carrying to reduce my weight into my ammo stash, and then I fast travel for free to the Nuka Cade where you can use the Legendary machine to exchange your loot for script, and then use the ammo station to load the ammo you dropped back. It’s totally free.
It's mostly weight saving perks and a few damage boosting ones. Nothing particularly great, but if you want to see it then I covered most of it in the video about carrying capacity - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w7xVcgLRk1g.html
I really appreciate your testing and explanations. I don't see any other videos from others do this and it really helps both in what your video is about, as well as learning the game to help in other situations. It is greatly appreciated!
