This is one of the cleanest and most dialed in detail setups I’ve seen in a car. Very well done! Love the video and explanation on everything. Thank you for taking time to show us!
Super clean set up. As for the ryobi being gravity feed, if it doesn't work the air needs to be bleed out. Turn on the water valve and slightly loosen the garden hose on the pressure washer to where you see some water leak out. Then tighten the fitting and it ahould work.
So I've only used this pressure washer one time. ru-vid.comUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP The one time I used it, it worked great. I recently had new siding installed but kept the old gutters and small areas surrounding my house that weren't replaced so they looked horrible and dirty because of the new siding. I needed to get it cleaned asap. When I used the pressure washer, man it just melted all the dirt and grime that was on those areas of my house. I used that krud kutter soap and it was over after that. Easy to assemble, feels durable, very simple to use. Also, I purchased a used one to save money and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I want to get more use out of it so I think I'll be washing the cars and update this comment as time goes on.
Thanks for taking the time to explain. This is really helpful because i have the same chrysler 200 and i have never thought that i can actually fit those tools and equipment inside. Thank you
I bought the same water tank I just need help with the exact things you bought for the plumbing? I can’t seem to figure out what is what! This would help a lot hopefully you’re able to because this setup is super clean!
New friend/ follower/subscriber here. I love your channel man you help so many people get started with what they have i appreciate you .i have a 2017 toyota corolla I will definitely maje a setup like this so i can get started. Thank you so much
Love the local support everyone is giving u! simplicity at its finest!! what material did you use as your platform to mount your equipment too? You get that also at home depot ??
Very clean and organized setup. Best I’ve seen in a sedan. How’s that generator doing for you? I have the same one as a backup. How’s performance with it on the job and maintenance etc. Also I’ve read the outlets on that reel are rated at 10 amps…No issues powering the pressure washer?
The generator work great i would say, didn’t have a problem with it. The reel outlet no issie so far, but im about to replace it with a retractable one 😅 because putting the extension back is kinda a pain because the setup is getting tighter 😅
You need backets, some rag container, brushes, maybe a polisher with its pads and compounds and cleaners ( I don`t think 4 bottles are enough). Do they fit inside? I`m not professional, I have a smaller car and barely fits 6 * 11Lt water containers, 3 buckets with brushes (one inside the other), a box with all the cleaners, battery pressure washer and foamer and a container with the rags
Hey bro I built the exact tank the way that you did it. Thanks for the inspo btw. I tried too detail the other day but when I turned on my green works 2000 pressure washer, the water wouldn’t come out any suggestions ideas ?
All good brother, you have to run water to your lines first. The way i do it is, i connect my pressure washer first to a hose from the house and let it run through pressure washer hose making sure its working and then fill up my tank and connect the tank to the pressure washer.
@@revibeautodetail got it bro thank you. My last question sorry is the first time I tried it the water didn’t want to come out at first but than the water did come out while having my pressure washer connected to the water tank. But yesterday I had it connected and didn’t want to shoot out water while I was doing a detail 😅
Does that generator operate the pressure washer ok? There is enough power? The reason I ask is because I am thinking about buying that generator for my 1900 PSI pressure washer
Man you got a clean setup! I was recently detailing from my sedan and struggled with having enough DI water for the day. Very hard water here in Los Angeles so it’s a challenge in the summer to use customer’s water. How do you go about using customers’ water and water spots?
Im located in oakland and i service bay area. I havent have a problem with water spots so far, thank god! But im looking into DI water also just trying to figure out how am i gonna fit it in this setup 😅
@@revibeautodetail Lucky you! But maybe you can try an in-line DI filter or a small DI tank. I considered investing in one but the water is so hard here and I’d have to go through filters or filter media too quick, making it too expensive. I was using Superior Products Formula 4 Spray Wax and it helped a lot but I’d still end up with some water spots. Maybe it would work way better with the water in your area!
@@revibeautodetail Yea Formula 4 is good stuff! Or Distinctive Detail’s Cheater Wax. The rinse n go system is also a good idea. Give the spray wax a try, it’ll probably be a lot more cost effective too! 👍
I’m really hoping you see this comment after this long time jjj… I was wondering, I’m just getting into mobile detailing right now, and I’m questioning on wether saving up to get a predator 3500 inverter or get the pulsar 4000watts since it’s on special for 480$… as I’m just starting, what you’d recommend? Ik the predator has more gasoline capacity and will last a bit longer, but does tht rlly affect for a starter mobile detailing? I’m sure I can get around it with 1gallon capacity and later on upgrade.. right?
I would say you can go with pulsar 4000, capacity is not a problem because you can always bring gas with you. And that generator is very efficient. And i never had a problem with it.
My vacuum cord is 20ft long, so yeah i park as close as possible to the vehicle. Or i connect directly on my generator so i can move them closer to the vehicle.
