YES! I have spent hours looking for a starter guide and they all spend 15 minutes explains which races have better stats. This is the first place I have seen where someone explained what I am supposed to be doing. Objective #1 is building beds for my people to sleep in. Thanks!
Best starting mages are stone and thunder for research and construction. recruiting green mage third for wood cutting and food. Getting faster teaching, faster contruction or faster tech is great too! cheers
Similarly I think it's earth and nature (green) as a starting mages with lightning as a first recruit. I keep the founder spirit on research 24/7 until then
Wouldn't it have been better to explain the basics of rooms having attributes (grounded, lofted, etc) and how to look up what a specific room type needs (bedrooms, classrooms) *before* just placing rooms? At least to mention it is something to be thinking about strategically right from the get-go?
If you know the game already you absolutely should plan that ahead. If you just start out it's very overwhelming for most. Can do it right away, nothing wrong with it, just didn't want to overcomplicate the learning curve.
Thank you for this video, it was very helpful. Hopefully you’ll continue to make them for a while. Definitely subbing to your channel and I’m interested in what else you cover.
Game has an amazing foundation and it has Klei as publisher behind it. Reminds me a lot of Oxygen Not Included in some ways. I expect this to get noticed sooner or later ^^
@Ic0n I don't understand. I built an Advanced Classroom - and suddenly everyone stopped studying in the room. But as soon as I replaced the advanced training station with a basic training stone, everyone is learning again. How does it work? Under what conditions will they study in an advanced class? When I'm just building an improved learning station, by default, all teachers and students are allowed to visit it. I checked, everyone has access. But they still don't study - they literally don't do anything, they have no other business and they just walk around the school doing nothing.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I started my 4th school and i failed again, all because of lack of wood what causes no possibility to perform the fog repel ritual. Any tips for that? I play on relentless mode.
My personal knowledge is sadly quite outdated, as the game has been made significantly harder since my last ride. I'm planning to return to the game a bit later down the roadmap of the devs. I will re-do this series accordingly then.
