Just stopping in to say I have watched this video 100 times over the past few years. How to start the blower is not something I store in long term memory! Thank you!!
I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. ru-vid.comUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.
I'm glad yours works. Mine is a piece of .... Yank until my arms fall off. Must have got a dud. It used to work sometimes. My neighbor is a lawn mower/carb guy and he could not get it going. It used to start by the second pull. Gonna have to get it into a shop I guess. It is only 2 years old. Always used premium gas and stabil and 50:1. I want to just hit it with a sledge hammer and throw it down the hill to the lake!
🎉 it probably would have taken me a couple hours to realize there was a switch on the handle I had to turn on. Great video quick and simple thank you for your help
I finally had to take it a "fix-it-shop". It was a "scored" piston. They had to tear it all apart and rebuild it. Cost about as much as a new unit. Heard from reviews that a LOT of people have had issues from their packs. If I could do it all over again I would have bought a new unit. lol.
Is there a different starting procedure for hot vs cold start. I have one of these and I used to be able to 2 pull start it when cold. It's never liked restarting when hot but the past couple days it doesn't want to start at all. It floods in 2 pulls.
Man I just took mine out the box and tried to start it for 30 mins. No dice. Same with the weed Wacker. I did get the edger to go the first time though. I knee I should have bout the ryobi electric stuff
Good video, but you gotta prime it first, too. And echoes are so incredibly touchy. I got a new one of this model right now and if you even prime it a pump or 2 too much, it floods easy. Touchy when you put new fuel in too. All echo products. My trimmers are the same. Echo products are good, but my god are they touchy. I certainly wouldn't wanna use this stuff in my sixties or seventies. Pull your arm out of your socket.
No he's not the man he didn't do all the steps how about priming it three times if you're going to make a video make complete videos don't skip steps for people that don't understand
