I like how you explained the wider stance and feet pointed a bit outwards when doing barbell Squats. That was something I saw a difference in when I was in highschool. I try to explain to women that it's OK to have a wider stance. It helps with completing a great squat in the workout!

I finally contacted a PT so I could do a few sessions with her for the first time in the gym, to get over my fear of the male dominated environment and also nervousness using machines and weights for the first time. I didn't want to look silly or injure myself. So I coughed up for a few sessions and I'm loving it, I feel more confident in the gym now and want to go more than once a week if I can. Can't wait to keep learning and try new exercises over time. And now that my confidence is up, I don't notice other people in the gym and they don't feel intimidating at all.

Such a good question!! For me it’s been trial & error, there’s a lot of sports bras I love but only wear for weight lifting days & wouldn’t wear for cardio 🤣🤣 I find most activewear brands will have in the description how “supportive” they are. I’m a big fan of gymshark, they have so many different options x

This is very sweet of you! I’m usually in the gym for 40 mins - 1 hour. I honestly don’t do cardio before or after on my weightlifting days anymore just because short on time! So that’s why right now, I will dedicate a day to cardio in the week x

I have a wee question, that’s your workout for the 4 days a week. So each day something different & your doing 1x leg day a week 1x core day a week etc so you can see a difference working each part only once a week? Sorry if I’ve complicated the question. x 💜

Yes you can. I've been working out in the gym only once a week for 6 months now. I do a little bit of everything every time and it actually makes a difference. You don't have to go to the gym 5 times a week if your goal is to do something good for yourself and just feel stronger.

Such a good question and yes completely agree with the above comment !! Going to the gym once, twice a week is absolutely better than not going at all. A lot of people say it’s a waste of time if you’re going that little but I disagree! Also to answer your question with my specific 4 day split, I definitely see and feel a big difference dedicating just a day a week to each muscle group. I think a lot of people forget that when you’re working other muscle groups, say for example leg day, it’s still a lot of work on your core, etc! I hope this answer is helpful! ❤️
