Biffa! Thanks for sharing all the assets for the new build on Steam. Very helpful! 😊 Please make a parkway in Chai Heights and call it The Chai Road. The world’s first parkway was Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, NYC. The history of the design can be found by googling the designer, architect Frederick Law Olmstead. It’s a two way four-lane road, flanked on either side by long parks containing benches, trees, walking/biking paths and subway/metro/ underground entrances (subway runs below road). On either side of the parks are one way roads with parking that service the residential and commercial properties there. The bikers and pedestrians are protected from cars by the park, it gives excellent access to public transport, and is a super cool solution to a main / high road. It’s a brilliant design and deserves a nod in one of your cities, much like that insane roundabout with all the roundabouts in it. Also quite fun to check it out using maps street view!

Favorite History Joke a HS Student told me... "Bos_on _ea Par_y" was written on my board... I walked right into it, as I got ready to discuss the Sons of Liberty Organization. That's because some busses weren't full with people. The bus can take 30, but only carries 10 or so. So the stop might just have gotten popular.

After all these years I've just reached 50,000 population for the first time instead of getting frustrated and starting again. Built a proper harbour area for the first time, discovered how insane ships are for the first time (11 ships ghosting through each-other to dock at the same harbour-building at the same time, ignoring the empty ones!). Thanks Biffa, your mod list and examples showed me how to introduce a little bit of reality.

I play on console and roundabouts are deadly and traffic is hard to fix so I normally just give up due to my traffic being about 30% on 29k population

I know I'm WAY behind the power curve here, but that little overgrown section into the one way road is genius. I see it all the time where old two lane highways have been replaced with four lane divided highways. That's supposed to be an old national highway that's been decommissioned. Beautiful detail work to the map creator!

@@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines Might be better to put 2 routes going in opposite directions, similar to how you do metros, but make every other stop for each line and have half as many buses each. I always find it weird how you've always made bus routes that basically go one way, so anyone wanting to go in the other direction has to either walk, drive, or occupy the bus for the entire length of the line.

I started yesterday a city in this map, I'm not really experienced so expanding in this map is really challenging but fun. To the right side on the coast I've built a high density city connected to the main started city, and on the other side of the avenue I started the farm. I'm using some of the mods of your list.

the railroad is elevated enough to go over the road that leads into the industry area. It would look much more realistic to slightly lower a roadway under a railroad bridge rather than the humpback bridge. Great new city Biffa!!

By the way biffa, there are coffee and tea shops(sadly i dont think there is only tea). Set an area to organic and local produce, and zone low density commercial 3 tiles wide and 4 tiles long and keep deleting until you get the tea and coffee shops and maybe make an entire small area dedicated to it

I like this series from the git-go because the map is so challenging. Can't wait to see how this develops over time. You and CPP need to stop releasing on the same day! 🤪🤪🤪 Thinking that farm area needs direct access to highway. Trucks are driving through residentials on the way to the lone highway access point. 🤔🤔🤔

Personally, i start gradually de-zoning my generic industry once i have a specialized industry area like a farm. Cuts down on smog and helps bump the number of workers up for the level requirements. Once the ground pollution clears away a bit it then also gives you space for high density housing later on with all the amenities already present.
