How to- Steampunk Goggles 

you should make a video of u making another set of goggles for people who want more detail on how to make them.

These are really cool! The way you sourced them together seems like something a real steampunk character would do!

Dude the "how to" is right there in front of you! This is just one of many examples of how anyone with an imagination and some artistic vision can use ordinary everyday items to make something cool. If there were plans and diagrams all laid out for you... then it wouldn't be your own art. By the way, the guy did actually show how to make them.

You either get it or you don.t. I thought the man gave an excellent presentation... he practically drove you down to Home Depot to buy the parts! It's all about collecting stuff and letting your own creative juices flow. Good job Daniel.

Theyre awesome, I made a pair myself from brass curtain rings, an old belt and meccano, I bought the lenses from a steampunk store in my city called velveteen

After some research i found out that the brass screw on parts are actually called Trap Adapters. Just so anyone who is looking for them can find them.

go to amazon and type in round glasses or john lennon glasses. they are very cheap and fit's those pipe caps perfectly.

correct, at the time I thought they were called pipe caps. I have not made much effort to edit the video or update. and yes they are welding goggles.

i'm sure a hareware store or craft store would likely have material you could use as lenses. that or if you can pop a lense our a flashlight or other pair of glasses that might do

Hey what size are the .. should they be able to fit on welders goggles the union caps on your cuz i have just a pair of goggles but cant find the right size ether to small or to big so where did you get yours and thank you for your help

What or where did you get those eye parts the like part that flares out that sits on your face and then the leather how did you cut it and put it on

That is my thought.. cause I have to wear glasses to see otherwise i am blind as a bat. Or are there Goggles that will fit around your glasses? @xjager513 I love what you did but that would be my issue. Have any suggestions for us blind people?

Nice design but i think you said a few miss leading things. First off i am rather sure you used welding goggles for your base i can tell by how they are connected in the middle. Second those are not called pipe caps or union caps those are called pipe collars. I will be using your design as a starting point for mine but i thought i would clear up that much for other people who would like to copy you too.
