hey peej fashion. i needed a little guidance. i recieved a gft of cotton unstitched saree. nd this piece of cloth is 93inches long nd 35 inches wide. its has border on both sides. is it actually a saree or something else ?

A saree is minimum 44inches wide and 5.5m long (almost 220inches). So this is just a piece of fabric.

The white thread stitch was by hand and was temporary. I stitched the pleats using my sewing machine (which i mentioned in the video) , and after I did that I took out the temporary one. The temporary thread stitch was to keep the pleats in place.

What is the saree length according to the height

Saree length is 5 1/2 meter for any height, width is usually 44 inches. Extra 80 cm to 1 meter for blouse.

44 inches. But (very rare) those who r extremely tall either they wear low waist sarees or add a strip of fabric at the top of the saree to increase the height. The extra strip goes inside the petticoat.

Machine is required dear to stitch the pleats. But aap pleat part pai hand sewing bhi kar sakte hai. Bas thoda chota chota taka lagana taki neat lage.
