I’m 17 years old and I have been bed wetting my whole life, my family will never understand the problem I go through on a daily basis and how much it actually affects a person mentally and physically. It’s a really serious medical issue that is not commonly talked about and I’m happy this comment section is something I can relate to for once in my life. I pray everyday to just wake up and be normal and never have to think about this issue. It’s ok if ur going through it because there’s other as well. ❤️ Edit (2 years later): thank you to everyone who has replied. I can now say at the age of 19 I have finally found the solution for me. Which is becoming more physically active and eating healthier. This is what has personally helped me, and maybe it could help you too!
Amal M, I am so glad you found a community here. This issue is more common than people realize. I hope the video helped. Best wishes, and thank you for watching.
Amal M I’m 17 and I still wet the bed too. I’m nervous because my boyfriend wants me to move in but I’ve been resisting because I know that I’ll wet his bed. He knows that I still do sometimes and I’m glad that he still loves me the same but I wish I could just be “normal” I guess. It’s hard because my little brother makes fun of me to his friends and to everybody in the family. An it’s just completely embarrassing.
Amal M I feel the same way, like I can actually relate to some of these people and I’m 15. I feel as though this may happen for ever but I don’t do it all the time. I don’t really feel normal compared to my friends, that’s why I’m afraid to let anyone know😖
I am a bedwetter and we have tried and nothing seems to work!! I get diapered every night...It’s a really sad situation, I’d love to have a normal life like any other teens of my school 😢
I’m 13 and still wet the bed but it feels like I have a genuine group of people who understand what I’m going through so the person reading this know your not alone and we will get through this together x
Many people have the same issue as you, Aussie Fur Now. Take a look at how many other similar comments there are here! You are definitely not alone. Please consider asking your parents if they are willing to watch this video with you and then purchase my reasonably-priced "Finally Dry". It helps to train your brain to wake up at the signal. Thank you for watching.
I'm 14, and i have always wet my bed sometimes not. Everyone in my family keep calling me lazy, they tought i was just too lazy to get up from my sleep to pee. I told them everytime that i felt nothing when i wet my bed and i'll only realize it when i woke up with a cold wet bed. And they still don't believe me till now, if just i woke up and feel my bladder i'll immedately go to the bathroom. I hate it i'm scared to go on a vacation because i'm afraid i'd wet the hotel bed. I really wish this to stop so badly...
Kelly San, I hear you. Ask your parents to watch a few of the videos here on the channel and tell them you really want to do something about it. I hope they listen.
I grew up with it and so did my mum and dad so they understand but about the holidays I know how you feel I leaked from "dry nights" (a type of nappy for kids like me) in a hotel many times and it's so imbarrsing I never know what to do....
July 2019: I just turned 13 like two months ago and all my life I have been bed wetting. Yes I go to the bathroom before I sleep and put alarms but nothing works. My mom calls me lazy but I’m really not. I feel like I’m going to continue this for the rest of my life and I’m never gonna have a family of my own and I’m going to be all alone . Feb 2020 Edit: okay I’m starting to stop because I’m starting to bedwet less in a month than I used to. aug 24 2020 Edit: okay so a year later i stopped idk im 14 since april and i stopped since january or february.. but yeah i was exaggerating , i just stopped as i aged, y’all probably will too! aug 2 2021 Edit: im 15 now since april and i just came to update yall that i still havent bed wet since since sometime of jan or feb 2020!! I will keep updating you guys!! i dont even remember how it feels to bedwet anymore lol
I went to a sleepover to my friends house knowing im a bed wetter And suddenly i felt scared and the next morning i didint wet the mattres And when i got back i bed wet again ;-;
Some people really don’t sleep at all when they are at their friends houses because A.we are having a lot of fun and we don’t go to bed or B.we are scared to wet the bed is that we don’t sleep a lot
I'm 16 and I still wet the bed, and I am very much a deep sleeper. I just sometimes wish I was normal like other people. I can't go on long school trips, and sometimes I even leak through the diaper. But, I'm never going to give up. I'll be back when I've overcome this. Good luck to everyone :)

I'm 13 and wetting the bed has been apart of my whole life. I struggled! I had to wear nappies and it really had an effect on my mental health... I used to never go to my friends sleepovers because I didn't want to wet the bed. It had an effect on my self esteem and my friendships. I felt useless, but recently I started to make a routine that works for me and helped stop my bedwetting! I started by going to the toilet every night before I went to sleep and then I set an alarm in the middle of the night to remind me to go again at first it didn't work and I carried on wetting the bed.. i had hope so I carried on! Then It started working, i finally woke up with a dry bed and i wasn't wearing a nappie! It was one of the best feelings and after that I knew I would be able to make a change. I started not having to set alarms and id still have a dry bed. Recently I've become a lot happier in a way. I sometimes wake up with a wet bed. But it is quite rare! But ever since I was younger (7-12) I thought I was the only person that wet the bed still and seeing the comments on this video really made me believe I wasn't alone. Eventhough I'm just a kid on the Internet and I don't know any of these people they will still understand. I feel as if I can finally talk about my problem and I won't get judged and I can finally be myself.
This story has giving my sister hope! She now trys the same strategy, and it's starting to work! Thank you so much you have lifted the darkness around my family.
My parents will never listen. Theres no point of trying with them anymore. Its always because “im lazy” im a very deep sleeper and they know that because they can never wake me up. I just wish this will end soon. And im 16 so yeah it’s basically ruining my life.
Me to ! my parents are from the carabians (jamaica) my dad always cus me out saying it's because I'm not waking up but it's not that I tried everything alarms etc and it never worked I tell him it's not like that I need to go to the doctor he still cussing me out saying it's that damn phone. So I looked on youtube to find this I'm 14
Honestly speaking I thought I was the only person facing such problems. I always feel ashamed always and it hurts to know that my parents think it's abnormal and certain times make me feel like a freak. I'm almost turning 18 now and the problem is getting worse. It hurts to go to bed in tears Everytime and know it's again another day to wet my bed. I'm glad to find this page where I feel better to relate my stories with other people my age.
im 14 and this has always been a weird situation for me nothing ive talked about with most people but for me, i dont often ben wet itll be once or twice a month and i am heading down to extended family and im really scare it will... yk and we'll be sleeping on the same bed.
I’m only 15 and I can’t stop I have been wet bedding my whole life since a kid litterally everyone in my family makes fun of me from my grandparents to uncles to parents and cousins know and it’s embarrassing
Itzshygirl_ Uwu, no one should be making fun of you. It upsets me to hear that happens. I hope the video helps and please ask your parents for help and understanding.
@@itzdat.kim_9240I know how you feel because rn I’m in the same situation as you are and at the same age I also wished that my family and other people understood my problem but instead I get made fun of for it
Honestly my mom always new about it being a deep sleep problem! But I’m glad to have a little more information! God bless each and every one of you!!! WE ARE NOT ALONE!
Hey guys I really don’t feel like living anymore cuz I’m 14 and still bed wetting I get made fun of every where by friends and family’s and just hope for a better life 👍
It sucks that some of us teens wet the bed.. I'm 15 and still do and its made me cancel things so so much.. But I get it im here for you to. Makes me feel not as alone.

Great news I stopped at age 14. I attended therapy sessions 2 times in 2 weeks and bam it just went away. I also prayed about this and God answered my prayers. Thank the Lord!!

I’m 17, a deep sleeper, and have been wetting the bed ever since I can remember. Apparently I had to wear diapers till I was 4 because it took me forever to be potty trained. I know that this is genetic because my dad had it till he was 18. I am glad I’m not the only one, but it still really bothers me that I still do it because I want it to stop. My mom is the only one who really knows that I still wet the bed and I refuse to tell anyone else about it. I feel that everyone else here is lucky because I have never had to privilege of wearing pulls up or anything that would absorb it to bed. I often don’t like to let anyone come over, and if I do, I often let them sleep on the floor or somewhere else because I’m afraid I’ll wet the bed. I don’t wet the bed as often as I used to, but it often happens a lot after I get off my period (I am female). I’ve read many things on the reasons why I wet the bed and such, and I do hope it stops soon because I don’t want to deal with it in adulthood, especially since I plan on moving out of my mom’s house after I turn 18. Wetting the bed has always been something that I would never tell anyone about, and I always get so angry at myself for it because I feel disgusting about it all the time. I also worry that in the future when I choose to have a child, that my own child may also get the gene and wet the bed like I have, I want to know if there is a way I can prevent that from happening since I would hate to have my child deal with the same struggles I went through with wetting the bed for most of my life.
Meowario Cat, there is no way to know if your child will have to deal with wetting the bed. You will be the perfect mother to help them through it since you know what it is like.
FINALLY someone made the connection with deep sleeping!! It’s incredible my child and I both sleep like the dead but she is still struggling with wetting the bed as a teen. I have done everything from setting my phone, waking her up to go (once we went every 2 hrs and she still woke up wet😭) using a terrible bed wetting alarm that never woke her up, and doing hypnotherapy asmr (which helped a bit but then stopped). We did discuss it with the doctor and they didn’t acknowledge the sleep thing PLUS the hormone issue which was the missing link
Hang in there. Bed wetters unite! A lot of people don’t understand it’s mostly due to deep, heavy sleep. I tried all the methods you mentioned and just ended up growing out of it at 13. Nothing could prevent it until I had a psychological breakthrough, which was a fulfillment of my worst fear: wetting the bed at a sleepover. I was devastated and humiliated but my friends and his parents were totally understanding. I remember that day because it was the last time it happened. I wish you luck on your journey. Trust me, your child will overcome will be so confident, empathetic, and honest after they triumph. It’s the only reason I was never a bully/great friend through childhood. I was hiding an embarrassing secret that helped me be gentle and understanding 🙏🏽
I'm literally crying right now seing a lot of teenage has the same problem as mine.. I am trying to explain to my family that I literally can't control it.. Me and my brother fought a lot because he kept on teasing me and shouting it out loud to our neighbours that I am bed wetting.. I feel so ashamed on what I have.. Sometimes I'm loosing hygiene after I wet because my head shouts that this never had stopped.. I'm tired of having this.. Sometimes when I am being ambarassed of new people knowing my problem I am just wishing for the ground to swallow me..
Czarina Ursabia, I am sorry your brother is doing this, that is really unkind. With your parents you can go to the website to buy my program to stop. finallydry.info.
I wet the bed into adulthood. I wish I had these tips back then. I was terrorized and beaten over and over as a child for this. I'm happy it's behind me now but it seems my daughter has it as well. Going to help her overcome it.
My advice is keep track of what you drink, and how much you drink. Don't drink any liquids after dinner, and keep yourself warm at night. When your cold your body works faster and your blood rushes to your vital organs, hence making you pee more. Also use the toilet several times at least an hour before bed. You can also set timers during the night to wake yourself up to go pee. I'd recommend setting 2, one in the middle of the night and another in the morning.
I'm a bad deep sleeper , and my dad and stepmom call me lazy . My mom is fine with it , because she went through the same thing at my age . It stopped for her around teen years like 15 or 16 , and yet I'm still stuck with it .
I am 17 and i still wet my bed .... FACT :- Nobody understands and my parents humiliate me in front of my relatives and neighbours and that's just not good.. hope I'll escape through this one day Just wanted to say that you're not alone... We're gonna fight this strongly
I used to have dreams for a few months, in urdreams I was in the bathroom and used to urinate, but in reality I was on the bed and urine also used to pass on the bed itself. My wife was very upset due to this problem of mine. I feel very ashamed but no medicine was working for me Then my wife ordered Utrason syrup and Branacon syrup online for me My bedwetting was completely cured by this medicine, now even when I have dreams, I do not urinate on the bed.
I'm so sorry your parents don't understand and even worse share your private personal medical issues with others. I pray for you sweetheart. My son is 8 and I've been looking for solutions for 3 yrs. I pray you find answers you need. ❤
I was a bedwetter till i turned 13. It stopped from one day to the other. my only theory is that it was something psychological. I remember I had a bad time at my old school, And when I changed schools I stopped bedwetting. I remeber I tried evrything, from not drinking water before bed to putting alarms to wake up and go to the bathroom but nothing worked. so if you are still in this situation as a teen, something in your life might be hard for you, in my case was bullying and hating the school but now i'm 15, I love my new school.
Azul Pelaez that’s what i’ve been thinking. I think i’m just really stressed all the time over homework and stuff but that seems normal for a freshman in highschool and nobody else wets the bed
i’m 12 and i still bed wet. my family don’t make fun of me but they’re pretty much fed up with me. I’ve been to doctors and i’ve used medication but nothings happening. i’m also fed up myself. But i won’t give up and to make sure that i stop this year!
I’m so shameful to I’m 14 and I’ve been bed wetting since I was bored and when I started my period. It got worse I wish I could have friends who understand
I am 12 yrs and my parents have even told these to my aunt's family and my cousin is in his mid-twenties and he made fun of me,as he is a early bloomer and we were at a wedding ceremony.I felt really embarrassed.
I'm gonna cry this is embarrassing and only some can pass it and some go into adult hood and still have it what I feel I'm that some of going into adult hood I'm 12 and it's embarrassing and nothing's helping
Gacha Shows, the numbers that go into adulthood are very, very low and most can be helped with medication or an underlying cause is found. You are old enough to try a program to train your brain. With your parents go to finallydry.info.
I am almost 16 and I still bed wet.. I hate it so much I never have friends over now and if i spend the night I pull an all nighter. I have alot of mental problems and this is one of the reasons why.

My sister is a bedwetter too.Everyone else in the family other than me and our mom always makes fun of her, but I like to stick by her side. It is probably best for her because she can talk to someone that has been through the same thing. I can understand that it is not her fault, an I can understand the pain she is dealing with right now. even if I was just six, I still felt the same way as all you teens!
Thank you so much for this video my 12 year old sis is really happy and she has made progress. First we tried the alarm and the giant drink before bed. She's started waking up before the incident, and has started to get out of bed to go to the bathroom.😮 I live on the same floor as her in my house, and when I hear the alarm, I can normally wake her up if needed! Thank you so much this has made both of our lives better

I wet the bed until I was 14. It was so embarrassing... it even happened at sleepovers.. I used to try to stay awake for fear I would wet the bed. I would say I spilled water or make an excuse. I’m 44... and it still brings back such helpless humiliating memories. I wish I knew I wasn’t alone then.

I'm turning 15 and I've always wet the bed. It's getting tiring at the moment and I just want it to stop. I feel like I've gained some positive thoughts and motivation from this video and the comments so thank you :)
@@thomasdolan8066 I believe in you! it’s good to think positive and try setting an alarm randomly throughout the night and when it goes off just use the toilet, it may sound dumb but it takes a few days or weeks for a habit to just become normal everyday. it has worked for me and soon your brain might think “oh this is what i have to do” and so hopefully you’ll wake up and never wet the bed! IF UR A HEAVY SLEEPER JUST FORCE YOURSELF UP!!
The older you get, the more it will decrease the closer you get to permanently get rid of it. I was about 14, and then i started to realize the times i bet wet was decreasing then when turn 16 i permanently got rid of it, so if its decreasing its a good sign it will go away forever (it did to me)
My son will be 13 in July and has always wet the bed. He used to also have day accidents that he wouldn't even know happened until I found Dr. Hodges's M.O.P. protocol which is dealing with chronic constipation. That was age 10. He no longer has day leaks but still night UNLESS he does an enema. I will add that he is a deep sleeper. We tried the hormone spray, the alarm, pretty much everything.
KombuchaLiz, bed wetters are deep sleepers and we need to get their brains to respond to the signals they are being sent instead of ignoring them. Check out finallydry.info.
I did that for 3 months like 4 times and it works for a month and stops again so I gave up the only thing that works is stopping drinking fluid from 3 to 4 pm or staying up till 12pm also I am so happy that there is a community. It was common knowledge to me that there were more bedwetters but there was never people just percentages and numbers I am thinking of setting up a discord server for people to know they are not alone except for percentages and numbers. Btw it wasn't the video that inspired me it was the comments so thank you to all of you and Dr. Jenkins for creating the medium.

My worst fear came true and I wet the bed at a sleepover with my friends sharing the same bed. Most humiliating and shameful moment of my life. Strangely, I never wet the bed after that. I was 12 or 13 at the time. Surprisingly, none of my friends teased me or even mentioned it. And as you said in this video, I was a very deep sleeper. My dad wet the bed, and my grandmother on my moms side wet the bed too.

@@enderman6522 no it doesn’t work like that. When I say deep sleep I mean a very DEEP and heavy sleep, as in vivid dreams, no tossing and rolling and constant waking up. I vividly remember my bed wetting incidents would be incorporated into the dreams. It was always a surprise when I awoke, and not even depriving myself of fluids past 6 pm could prevent bed wetting. I’m a very deep sleeper and I try my best to stop set alarms and even use the bathroom before I go to sleep,it’s genuinely ruining me,my family knows this and it’s so embarrassing because I can’t talk to her abt it or do anything cause all she’s gonna say is I’m lazy to get up,when I’m not it’s literally just that I’m a deep sleeper,I can’t even do anything without waking up to a wet bed and it sucks,it really does I can’t explain to anybody why I do it,She tells me that I’m a animal and that I’m lazy and it hurts so bad 😭😔 I just wanna be normal for once,I’m glad to know that people are having the same experiences as me though

I have tried everything under the sun, alarms, no water before bed, even not going to sleep until 2 am just to wake up dry. The amount of time and money that I have spent is insane. Don’t do any of it, while your program may be different I have heard the same story from 5 other websites telling me they can fix it, unsurprisingly they never did. Anyone reading this who has this issue do this one thing: reduce the amount of stress in your life, I’ve found that meditating helps. I may be wrong but I don’t think it is because we are deep sleepers, I think it is because we have so many other things going through our head that needing to go to the bathroom just gets pushed aside. Am I wrong probably, but try it, it has started to work for me and it might work for you.
Ryan Kilburn, thanks for your input. I have had to work one on one with some people, recently a 30 year old and he stopped wetting at night within a month.
I am 14 and I still wet the bed and whenever I wet the bed my mom would spank me and punish me but she doesn’t do that anymore. She only did that when I was like 10, 11 or 12
Thank you for watching, Iamabot. I am sorry your mother doesn't understand; thankfully she does not spank you any more. Please share this video with her so she knows what is going on. Then you can ask her to purchase my reasonably-priced e-book, "Finally Dry" to help solve the issue. You can get it here: www.finallydry.info
I've had this FOREVER. I've tried to train my brain but it doesn't work. And my dad gets mad at me for it. Oh, and the alarm, that doesn't work neither. It always rings AFTER I'm wet.
BTB- TV, I encourage you to keep trying - don't give up! It might eventually work. Get your parents on board - let them know that you really want to overcome this. Have them watch this video with you, as well as "5 BEDWETTING MYTHS Parents Believe" - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-21qFPEqZhbo.html . I pee the bed and I’m 12. It’s not like I’m lazy and just don’t go to the bathroom I can’t help it. It happens in my sleep. I go pee before I go to bed each night but I feel like it never works. I’m 12 years old and I still wear pull ups to bed. When I go for a sleepover with one of my friends I have an anxiety attack if we don’t have good nights left. I actually had a situation where I peed the bed at a friends house and I got so embarrassed I ghosted them and moved away. I don’t think I’ll ever overcome the bed wetting and I cry myself to sleep sometimes from it. I feel bad for my mom because she wastes so much money just to buy me them and I can’t stop it! I wish that humans would never have to use the bathroom the world would be so much easier!
Thank you for watching, Emmy The Unicorn Queen. I understand your frustration and anxiety. Please have your parents watch this video, and them ask them to consider buying my reasonably priced e-program: www.finallydry.info. It is worth a shot; we have seen much success with it. There is hope for you. Best wishes.
I still wet the bed and I’m 13, but I have been getting better. I would go 2 weeks without wetting the bed but then I would do it one night. But it’s not as much as it used to be. I recommend setting an alarm at night(even deep sleepers) I am also a deep sleeper but if you don’t drink like an hour or even 30 minutes before you go to bed, you won’t wet the bed. Sometimes I’ve forgotten to set the alarm and I just wake up randomly to use the restroom. I’ve been doing it for 3 months now and there is a HUGE difference

I also recommend being hydrated but do not drink anything after 6:00 pm so to not be thirsty drink lots of water in the daytime and don’t hold in your pee when you need to go
I am 13. I have wet the bed my whole life. All my relatives know about it. I used to get upset about them making fun of me for it, but we've made lots of jokes about it😂. It is hard because you can't do things regular people could. Like, sleepovers for example.
Memes _Playz, you might want to have your Mom watch this video so she knows it is not your fault: "5 BEDWETTING MYTHS Parents Believe" - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-21qFPEqZhbo.html
I started bed wetting at like 6 years old and now im 14, when i was younger it would happen everyday and a lot but now for some reason i do it like for a week straight once A month or a few times every two months. I basically never know whether i'll be dry or wet. Hopefully i grow out of it like the people in my family. Although they grew out of it quicker.
I'm having this problem and I'm 16. The most embarrassing thing is that I'm living in a boarding school and my roommate would always look at me with judging eyes I hope it would stop soon.
I never used to do this when I was younger and now I do! I started and I was like ah it’s nothing then it started happening EVERY night! I went on a school residential and prayed! From then when I got back it happened once and NEVER again! Then all of a sudde... early morning wet pants. Just a little accident no problem! *happens again a fortnight after* Then again but a tiny bit. Then WET pants! It’s getting better then it’s gone and it’s back. Help!
10kchallangePleaseSub I Bloxy Life, it may have to do with how deeply you are sleeping. Please talk to your parents about it - they are your best resource. If you're worried about how they will react, you can show them this video as well as this one: "5 BEDWETTING MYTHS Parents Believe" - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-21qFPEqZhbo.html . i’m not a deep sleeper, i am more of a light sleeper. almost anything wakes me up except for my bed wetting problem 😐 like i don’t feel the urge to pee at all which is so weird
One thing that helps at sleepovers is to wear blatter leak proof underwear. It doesnt prevent it but it helps and you just have to go to the restroom really good and if you get the feeling even a little bit just go to the restroom and if you have alittle accident, the underwear prevents it but if it is a big one then it wont help so if you have to go to the restroom even a tiny bit just go. And if you have a big accident just hope your friends understand. I still have accidents, its a gene that runs in my family, one of my friends found out at a sleepover and he understood. If they were really your friends they wont make fun of you. The boy that found out is one of my best friends so dont be ashamed, you are not alone
I always used to bedwet still do at age 12 please help i dont wanna deal with this no more its embarrassing i cant do sleepovers and its really just annoying to feel
