People need to hear this. You can only disempower yourself so much before you have nothing left and you're merely an empty husk of a person with no future and no legacy to be remembered by.
I don't know why but i was immediately reminded of Talent shows (The Voice and such...) Where they'd always focus on the sad background of the singer, more than his actual talent

Right on time!! I remember reading a very simple quote by Audrey Hepburn, "To plant a garden means to believe in a tomorrow." At that time in my life, my proverbial bottom had a basement with an extra cellar door (jk😉). Lately being stuck in quarantine Ive been giving a lot of fucks about unnecessary things like social media or my relations with people that dont actually matter to me. An empty mind is the Devils home. Listening to this was quite liberating and for sure at 3 am I am deleting most of my social media accounts and contacts and people that have left me. We tend to waste a lot of energy on things that dont actually matter. Your perspective on mlife matches a lot with that of Dandapani. That monk. Cheers mate!

You need to use education to learn and not to create a victimization system, that just portrays and replicates the larger problems in society we are trying to avoid. The individual is the least to blame or praise; still, that's the common approach, due to the lack of proper education - and education means a larger scheme of learning, not only schooling. This quote is so simple, I get myself thinking about it quite often, how long did he take to sum up such a vast concept on this unique phrase... Yet very few people seem to be capable of understanding it.
People are rewarding personal disempowerment because they feel powerless (often because they've disempowered themselves) and are therefore afraid to see power in others. They believe that since they are powerless, anyone with power will abuse them.

I don't think it's a selfish act to care for yourself, if you've found your North Star or still searching for it, Kudos to you. Although not in my control as a human being, One does reflect if your life is/was worthwhile. I suspect the good suffering i.e. raising a child and giving them tools to survive, and the unconditionality of love means I give a fuck. On the flipside, The only creature that I see that gives a shit about me unconditionally(?) is my Dog!!
