honestly I'm not sure if it's that or people aren't reopening the security window like I told them :/ everyone you have to make sure to close and reopen the advanced security settings for helpane window if you can't delete the permissions

I just had to do this again. Must have undone itself while updating. Still worked though after typing in my username (checked it in users), clicking check names, selecting okay, opening permissions, and removing all permissions, clicking apply, and clicking okay I didn't even have to remember how to do it. I just went to this video

I was having problem with my system. Everytime i restart my device, It keeps up opening help again and again until i press any other key on my laptop. But after the solution you provided in this video, My PC is working fine without the annoying get help popups. Thanks a lot bro.
That's why I did this. Games would just randomly freeze for a split second and ruin precision gaming. Something about the key mashing games require seems to trigger it.

You have to make yourself the owner by clicking owner in advanced and putting your user (it's in C:\Users (windows\users)), then go into permissions and remove them
You have to change the owner to your user. Go to advanced, click owner, put your user in object (found in windows\users), check names makes it the proper user, click apply, go to permissions, remove all the permission, click apply, say yes to the warnings

Sir I have a problem. As soon as I start my laptop the microsoft edge tabs get open multiple times and tha keeps on going cn you help me what is the problem. Now I can't use my laptop because off this.
It pops up by accidentally pressing f1, but it seems there's another condition under which it can pop up that I'm not certain of. I'm almost positive it's popped up without my pressing f1 so there must be a second circumstance. This method just completely eliminates your computer's access to the help program so that it can't run it and open the pop up no matter what. It opens it because it can, and I don't know what causes it besides perhaps lag or many inputs on the keyboard. I just eliminated the can and now it can't.
Thank you so much the f1 key annoyed for nearly a year! Good riddance, they should fire the people who thought this function was a good idea. I dont even press f1 and it magically opens, I hate it so much. I'm glad it's gone. Thank you.
Then there wouldn't be any popup? Check again. Type helppane into the search bar on the bottom left, right click on the option that says run command, and click open file location.
go to advanced properties, click ownership, change owners to your used found in users under computer, click check object or user or whatever it says to the right that makes gives it the right object name, click apply, go to permissions, delete all permission, click yes on the warnings. click apply. repeat until it works.
