You helped me the most! I tried so many things getting away from panic attacks and anxiety for over 10 years and I am tired of it. They always came back. But I think I am on my way to recovery. Thank you so much!

This is awesome. This is the key for me as well. I almost treat anxiety/panic as a bully. When symptoms start to come, I almost dare them to do their worst. In the end, I’m always still here, still standing, not dead, not crazy, and ready for when they come back for another fight. This has lessened their grip on my life immensely. The goal isn’t to recover or remove them, otherwise you become hyper focused on them I.e. “checking in.” The goal is to forget about them, and when they show up, just to say, “meh. You’ve been here before. You’re allowed to hang out, I guess. Once you’re done, you can see yourself out.”

I’m almost feel recovered but as I practice doing the things I was before like playing sports, driving , and just going out I notice I definitely scan my body how it feels sometimes overwhelming but I just feel like if I’m consistently getting out and about it will be a thing of the past hopefully

Get this every couple weeks to months. I go from over thinking about one symptom and over the course of few weeks to a month or two my symptoms change or I start overthinking about some other symptom I’m feeling at the moment. So one symptom morphs into another. I pray for all that are going through this. Nothing worse than being a prisoner in your own mind.

Oh yeah. Definitely me. Had one symptom/symptoms left that appeared during sleep. Had a real hard time overcoming that and still do. And as those sleep symptoms annoyed me and made me fear and overthink them - what happened? The old symptoms that I didnt get for so long started to slowly come back or change. It’s hard being a prisoner of your mind as you say

I've 90% beaten anxiety and you're videos helped me a lot but the only thing that confuses me about anxiety is that I get the feeling of adrenaline when I'm nervous but I also get the feeling of adrenaline when I feel good, for example when I exercise or take a vacation etc So what happens is when I feel good it reminds me of my anxiety and I start to feel anxious, apologies if that doesn't make sense but that's what happens

Yeah this makes complete sense to me. When i’m in a good place with my anxiety, i could be watching a sport, if i get really into it and my heart starts racing my brain then kind of thinks its anxiety and i get that negative/worry feeling - its a shame as then a bit of a feedback loop starts happening again. Is this the same for you?

Hi Shaan!! Really appreciate your content…has helped me a lot in last couple of weeks. I feel better than before…the severity of my panic attacks has reduced. Does that mean I’m on recovery path? But I always have mild anxiety. My blood pressure and heart rate are always high (wasn’t an issue before anxiety), should I take medications or see a doctor for that as I worry it’s affecting my health

So are you saying literally just accept your anxiety and it goes away over time? I've been looking into some neuroscience and they say that the original thought surrounding the trauma or event needs to be unprocessed otherwise it will get worse if you just leave it there but gathering awareness of it weakens it to be changed and grown into the healthy thought that replaces it. Is this what you teach also?

Once I think I'm getting everything under control BOOM panic attack out of no where and I do have the habit of checking my pulse and blood pressure. Have been through a full workup and was prescribed buprpion and lorazepam. I try not to use the lorazepam unless I have to . It seems like this goes in cycles and they always hit me when I'm in public.

I sometimes doing fine, enjoying life and suddenly I thought oh I'm not getting any intrusive thoughts very good and boom starts to get them again, again getting afraid of things! Then after sometime they calm down, but yeah this is happening alot... nowadays 😑. And also I started getting afraid of spirits which I never used to be, thanks anxiety! But that's I deal like I have Hanuman Chalisa, Mahadev, Krishna jee, and obviously Ganu Saph by my side so I overcome them.

I really wish there were more helpful videos on this subject/ that internal focus cause its been on of the hardest things to deal with/try to get out of. Also what do you do if its a cycle of a symptom causing anxiety. This weird brain foggy internal focus heady feeling it whats causing my anxiety but that itself is most likely just a symptom of anxiety? also not thinking/worrying about the feeling and just welcoming it doesnt get rid of the feeling overtime either (at least it hasnt yet) :(

i"m not sure what you mean by "checking in". I have generalized anxiety disorder which pretty much means I'm nervous most of the time for no apparent reason. Is "checking in" noticing I'm nervous? How can I ignore that physical feeling? I probably concentrate on it too much and fear that feeling but... Thoughts?

Accept death. Welcome it. Say to yourself, “I’m not about to die, but if I do, so be it.” I’ve accepted this fact as a fellow sufferer. It hasn’t cured my problems, but it’s helped immensely. “Death smiles at us all. All a man can do is smile back.”
