You are exactly correct, last year I was determined to become healthy. I refused to let holidays, birthdays or any days to stop me from being my best self. I am happy to say I'm down 30 pounds down ten more to go to reach my goal. So please yall don't let the holidays stop you from becoming your better self❤
When I'm working out I'd been in the habit of saying stuff like "why am I doing this? " or "do I really want this?" Usually joking around, but still being negative. Anytime now I think something like that I say out loud "I am grateful to be able to exercise," and it has made a big mindset difference
As somebody who became disabled quickly in my early 20’s and was addicted to exercise while also saying that discouraging shit. This changed everything. I never realized before I don’t have to do it to punish myself with workouts and they can actually be FUN if I let it…. It was just something I learned from tv show or characters, watching my mom, gym teachers, sports techs, magazines, Instagram. I just thought that was normal before. I feel like this is something we need to emphasize with kids. “Fuel your body and be grateful the ways you can move it.” Instead of, it’s painful so you have to just be miserable and get comfortable with that… It’s something I worry for the next generations to have to struggle with as long as a lot of us had to.
3 days out of 90 is so true! 🔥 Using the season and holidays reason 💯 is an excuse. You can enjoy the holidays and still workout and be healthy the other days instead of waiting until January when you’ve gained more weight and it’s even more cold and dark 😊
So true. I replace those negative thoughts with all of the good things that came from the last time. Working out is a great way to escape all of the other responsibilities for a while. My back pain is gone because I'm getting stronger. I feel better after working out. I also wanted to mention how much I love your jacket!
I haven't seen your videos in months but this was the perfect video to come across again! I am so glad you mentioned taking care of your body NOW versus when it's too late. I've seen family face consequences to this and it is heavy, not just for them, but for everyone else. I think that's something no one considers - "how is my health going to affect my loved ones, short-term and long-term". I am also glad you mentioned that you can still be in your healthy routine during the holidays. I like to give myself those few months lol but I hope this year that changes! Thank you for this video!
Thank you for giving us parents a pass on the pantry. I’m trying to build healthy eating habits for my kids without giving them food trauma. I really needed this tough love. Keep it coming!!!
I love your videos! They are so inspiring. I watch them first thing in the morning while I’m getting ready to help set my intention for the day. Thank you! ❤
Girl!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for this video❤ I need discipline and consistency. I am the only one responsible for taking care of my body, mind, and what I consume. In order to get the body I have on my vision board, I have to just do the work!
