You are 100% right about this, I struggle with this big time. I have found that having lots of different little things on the go at once means I can pick up whatever I want and run with it.
Nice! I actually have been thinking about buying myself a few extra SD cards so it would be easier for me to work on multiple videos at once…not sure if that is a good idea or a bad idea for me 😂
And here I am standing on the staircase, procrastinating going upstairs. Or downstairs. I haven’t decided which. … Ok now it’s a couple minutes later, thanks for the tips! I made it up the stairs and started working. Motivating!
Loved all these tips ! Also the wave transition slides were very much enjoyed, and your bloopers!!!!!!!!! Love love love ! The add for procrastination 🤣
I needed this video, I started gutting my wardrobe to procrastinate making stuff and now I'm just surrounded by clothes 😭 I have *got* to find better methods of handling this
1) plz mail me all da clothes hahaha 😝 (I do that all the time to procrastinate…) 2) I’m glad this video brought you some inspiration but hey we all have days like this! I started working on a new video today and I planned to start at noon but pretty sure I didn’t start until like 3 or 4 👀 but hey a late start is better than not starting!
Heck it's true, if you're a creative you have to accept that there are days when productivity is low. Self-flagellation is useless. This video will be useful to many creators and artists, you were right to do it 😊🙌🏻 I'm sorry about your mood disorder but I think some people manage to do what they do because at certain times they are unproductive, but in times of productivity everything that has not been done before becomes concentrated and this leads to higher results than the norm.
Hey thank you so much for the kind words! And honestly just learning more about myself and how I can better react to my own emotions is going to be really helpful. Not a problem as much as it is just a super power that I need to figure out how to use 😊
The mood tracker is an incredibly interesting idea. I'm not sure if I have any kind of disorder, but I've experienced a lot more mood swings and frustratingly unpredictable daily mood these last two years (lockdown, covid, unemployment etc. really did a number) and using something like this might have helped me.
If nothing else it helps a lot to track your moods and get better at recognizing what makes you feel good! 🥰 Did you sleep well? Did you see friends? Did you do something creative? Did you get some exercise? All those things can improve your mood and I find when I write those things down my brain can better make the connection of WHY I should do those things! 💫
As a jazza fan, I found you from the monster bash at jazzas studio. I'm no artist but I love watching people create such amazing things. I think this video can relate to even non artists! Thanks for this video (: your monster bash creation was so cool
This was pretty funny, and I enjoyed it! I don't consider myself a creative person. My mind thinks too linear, and I am okay with that. There are things I do creatively, but those are more creative ways of solving a problem, or fixing something already made. I do however, enjoy seeing what other people can create. Seeing someone take something they see in their mind, and bring it to life, brings me immense joy. Thanks for making this, and thanks for putting your projects out there for us all to see and appreciate :)
Hey thank you so much for this kind comment. I really appreciate it and I'm glad you enjoyed the video! The older I get the more I have grown to appreciate and understand how different brains can be and how we all have different skills. It takes all types to make this crazy world go 'round 😊
I had this on Monday, I had the day off work, the plan was to start work on a campaign thing for my friends. Did I do it? No! haha Thanks for sharing the video, and the mood tracker’s a great idea!
Thanks for the tips !!! Personnally even if it's for someone else I struggle to start a project. In this kind of scenario I tend to wait for the last time possible to start doing it. There is too much stuff I wanna do at the same time so I usually end up doing none 'cuz I can't chose. I just need to find a way to calm and organize myself.
We're all different and we have to learn what works for us. I think the best thing to do is get to know yourself and start from there. Identify patterns and slowly try to add in positive habits...just never forget to give yourself some grace...you're just human after all 👽
Such amazing wisdom here Raquel. I’ve actually been thinking of getting a mood tracker type system but to track days that I feel overly stressed just so I can see if there are patterns to feeling overwhelmed so I can then know when to prioritise rest. Loved the video!
Thank you so much! I’m glad I was able to provide you with some inspiration. It’s really hard to write down your mood when you’re feeling crummy but it is worth it if it helps you to better understand your own mind - baby steps towards learning how to spend more time happy and less time sad 💫
@@RaqrexArt well it depends on how dependable your mood swings are. It might work as a time tracker. It's a quarter passed sadness. In 3 happinesses we will have dinner. 🤣😂
Stares uncomfortably at pile of models and minis and paint and 3D resin printer that have been sitting there for more than a year waiting for the 'time' that never seems to come.
Hi Raquel, I just finished bingeing ALL of your videos except live streams (I missed out on those). The only way I can describe the concentrated experience is: It's like a documentary of a stop motion video showing the blooming of a flower bud into a flower in full bloom. It was quit the experience. I feel I really got to know as a earthling and a true artist (in all media). I can't thank you enough for sharing your hobby and editing and posting and do all the hard work that's not seen behind the scenes of a RU-vid channel. You really do Raq (and roll)!!! Signed, a big fan and a loyal subscriber!
Wow! What a kind comment and what a wild ride you have been on haha! Thanks for taking the time to go back and watch my entire journey on RU-vid. True it has been a lot of work and I really appreciate you recognizing that but it has been well worth it and so very fun! Thanks again for your time, enthusiasm, and your subscription 👽
