First time catching your channel, thanks to the link from @BillMakingStuff. What a cool episode, I'll subscribe to catch more. Very detailed, you have a keen eye for creative design and can relate to the process, expectations vs. the commitment to dedicate time and talent, plus the wow factor through the final reveal. Your work is outstanding! Excellent narration, editing, and personality,. Made me want to watch the movie all over again! You have a new fan. I look forward to watching previous episodes. Keep up the good work. Cheers!
Awesome project! Just got back from Iceland (So inspired) and now we’re not sure when we will not travel back to Iceland. In fact I’m going back in a month for the Laugavegur.
Ooo... pay respect to that lovely dead bird by filming deterioration, or rather stitching together daily images into a film. Then preserve skeleton within work of art! Ok, maybe that suggestion is a little late (no pun intended), but I've intended to do that twice now but local cats or possums or something snatched the birds corpses too quick (not to say I'm kinda slow or anything, or admit anyway). Anyway, keep being you! 😎
Rock on! Crazy is good - you're not alone. Heck, look at the "normal" folks, they're gone down the road WACKO! For what it's worth, the two most beneficial "therapies" I've found are making stuff and bonding with nature. Thanks for sharing your world along with your cool creations!
Bravo for sharing your struggles! Making music and art are my therapy and it helps significantly when my mental health is not at its best. Thank you so much for making this video!
@@thedollify434 I probably used an entire 1lb bag of super sculpey on the dragon. And maybe half of one on the pieces - but of course the entire set was done in the resin
This is such a cool and unique project, I loved seeing the process and problem solving. Looked like a pretty tricky build, but woah it turned out soooooo cool in the end, ugh what a fantastic video! The fact that you couldn't drill through those heels kinda blew my mind haha
Ahhh it's so realistic it's freaking me out in the best way. I'm glad you took your time and finished it in the way you wanted to. I'm glad you're back, I've missed you friend!
For all that want to learn about mould making and casting. Robert Tolone is the ultimate channel in that regard on RU-vid. Imho. www.youtube.com/@RobertTolone/featured
I’ve recently come back to a project that I previously abandoned because it didn’t go at all according to plan. Similar to casting with resin, I cast masks with latex and if the mould I use isn’t watertight then the latex will come pouring out of the bottom. Needless to say it’s quite stressful at times, so I can definitely empathise with you on this project!
Ooofff yeah that sounds stressful as well and potentially costly! I’m happy to hear you circled back to your project - sometimes all you need is to step away for awhile 😊
@@RaqrexArt Is there a particular platform where I can send you photos of projects that I’ve done. Would really like to show you my “Vecna” (Stranger Things) mask that I made from scratch.
