Frr it said it lasted abt 8h left but it just drains when i turned it off like wtf??? I have a feeling that what it means by 8 hour is legit 8 hours no matter if you turn your phone off or on lmaooo
@@MechaTrex90if your battery shows the incorrect percentage it means you have degraded battery, my old phone used to turn off at 15% replaced battery and it got fixed
I literally just tried this and did the excat thing you did and my battery is still going down fast when I don't charge my phone and it goes down fast to when I'm charging me phone
I spoke with Smatt Tutor and she said she has a Samsung as well. She suggested that I turn off the fast charging option in the settings. She only suggest for me to only use that feature if I'm running late for a meeting or something and need to quickly charge my phone. By having it on, it not only charges your phone fast but it also drains it fast. Once she adjusted her own settings, she experienced between a 15-20% difference in battery life
Update! So what you need to do is turn off everything I once mentioned. I recently spoke with a Samsung tech guy whi broke it down to me. The battery is designed to evaluate your usage every 2 weeks. If you are constantly charging it before it gets low, you're doing it an injustice. You want to wait until the battery is down to like 10% before charging it so that the battery can have enough time to begin to adapt to how much you use your phone before it has to be charged again. Then, you will begin to see a change. Remember, the batter does this every 2 weeks, so it's constantly adapting to your usage.
How is your estimated battery time over 24 hours? I have just purchased the S23 ultra and I am charging it twice a day. I have followed all the optimisation tips i could find but still having no results. Is it true that the phone needs to learn your usage patterns and that the battery will improve over time? This is what the Samsung support team have told me. I cannot find anyone explaining how this works. I feel like there is a lot of false advertisement around the battery capability

I recently switched from iPhone to Samsung s23 ultra and don't regret it one bit. With all the amazing features and the battery life makes iPhone look basic
Man your phone must be just bought. I had my phone since end of april 2022 and rn im kn 95% and it says i have 1 day and 1 hour left, i dont even use it for more than 6 hours a day, 6 is like the maximum maximum, usually 1-3 hours
Limiting apps can help but in the long run you get 1-2%. If you put Gmail or messenger to sleep it will help but you won't receive notifications. So as I said pointless. And don't believe his battery life. If I leave my phone alone with no accounts and use 4 days sure. But with 10 hours of screen on time it's dead 😂
