Dumbest alarm ever. Letting me know EVERY minute that the power went out. I could tell....the lights weren't on. And, typing in code doesn't work. But YOU. YOU SAVED MY SANITY. Thank you!
❤It worked!!! THANK YOU! 😭 Working at the office a year and decided to get to the bottom of how to end the beeeep beeeep. I can't believe how easy that was thanks to you. God bless you! Truly.
You’re the only one with the video that actually explains what it is. My store lost power yesterday and it’s been beeping ever since I was beginning to lose my mind and I really appreciate you telling me how to fix it. I have the exact same security console in my store so this was a huge help.🎉🎉🎉
I have deactivated the expensive Guardian security 3 years back, but it decides to start chiming at 3am today in the middle of the night. Thank you for helping me save my sleep, thankfully the kids slept through it.
I’ve been looking for videos of our system just like this for weeks. Our alarm goes off twice a day for months since power went out. I had the security guy show me last time he was here how to disarm and I knew it was super super embarrassingly simple but couldn’t remember how to fix it. Thank you, I really hope this works and I’m saving this video.
@@TheBealWorld hi, did you work out how to fix yours? I have the same situation as you in that the power went out and now the alarm beeps twice a day. I’ve just tried the suggested solution but it didnt work for me either. Thanks
No I finally called the alarm company and he was able to do a diagnostic test over the phone and it wasn’t anything wrong we could’ve fixed and he literally fixed it while on the phone. Literally so embarrassing we let it beep multiple times a day for like 6 months
Thank you so much! The beeping was driving me crazy! It was a low battery alarm that started the beeping. Then I changed the battery but the beeping wouldn't stop
Thank you whew! We lost power for a few days and when it was restored the doggone alarm started beeping. All night long! I was just getting ready to get a butter knife! 🎉😊
Thank you so very much for the video ❤ My area was power off for maintenance last night I call the alarm company They got no idea how to turn off the sound You save me and my family Greatly appreciated Doreen
Pressing the asterisk again doesn’t seem to be necessary. I’ve had this happen multiple times since this video and just one push is all it takes. The second push seems to be a confirmation that it’s done. But now you know how easy it is to fix it for next time!!! Best feeling, right???
I thought your video will safe me but unfortunately not. Even though I have a similar annoying beeps (we both have the exact same panel) that doesn’t always caused by the same issue so hence the solution to fix is different. On mine the panel says “CPU BATTERY LOW”. I’m still trying to figure out where us the CPU. If Incan find it I maybe able to change the battery myself. In the mean times pressing the star key and hold it until you hear a long beep and met it go will fix it but not always.
I know, I would've liked to have made this shorter, but I wanted to show what the beeping sound it was CONSTANTLY making sounded like so others would know if their beep matched mine hoping to help them fix their problem if it was the same as mine.

@@doreenrg I had a different issue where the beeping was loud and constant as a result of power loss and while it worked i was going stir crazy for the first minute of the video. Still a thanks is in order lol
@@Definitelynotasam I'm the same way, when I need to fix something I just want to hurry up and get to how I fix it. Thanks for baring with me while I waited for the beeping noise. Glad it worked for you in the end.
Yes, it will keep beeping until you change the battery. But, pressing the star key will snooze the beeping alarm it sends off. I believe it snoozes it for 12 hours. Find the main box in your house, and change the battery. Once you change the battery, and push the star button it will stop beeping.
