HOW TO STOP XBOX ONE CONTROLLER FROM TURNING OFF!!!! SIMPLE FIX!!!! 

So does it only work when u plug it into the front Xbox or can it just be plugged in anywhere? Like a power box? Please lmk it would help out tons , I see videos of people plugging them into power boxes but when I do it , it still turns off after a bit and my front USB is kinda broken lmao

daenyboy 86 it’s not a glitch, if you get kicked from the game it’s because the gta servers are just trash, they can’t patch this since it’s the way the Xbox is built, not gta

Use a multi port USB device. I use one and have my KB and mouse plugged into it on the front of my One X. I need to figure if this works for me because my controller shuts off on its own and my headphones go out till I turn it back on.

Vapor are you sure you have the correct micro cable. The cable has to be able to transfer files. It’s should have a symbol on it that looks like a tree kind of

The Mystery Man I switched controllers it’s a USB type C now, but playing Spotify will make your controller never turn off at all

XllscopezllX yeah but this way you won’t have to have Spotify open. You will just be able to have it plugged in with a micro usb and it will stay on as long as your Xbox is on and as long as it’s plugged in

Noah T you have to have a micro usb charger. By that I mean you have to have a android charger that is able to transport files.

If your controller is wirless, you've to buy rechargeable battery

It wasn’t the batteries for me. I have the newer controller and I just had to keep trying different micro usb cables until I found one that would keep it it weak past 15 minutes. It ended up being the one on my headphones. Took like 7 different cables before i found one that worked.

Its only micro usb cables that work . alsp for this trick to work your controller has to have no batteries in it so its forced to use the cable even though i have had some people who could do it with batteries still in their controller
