Dell Inspiron 7501 bought in April gets to 95 degrees when streaming (non gaming) heat sink replaced no longer can hear the fan and the issue persists. The fan is under the screen
lol you gave me some laughs I needed this morning Came here from the info graphic after playing skyrim last night and thought it would make a good skillet
That's it, I'm emigrating to Scotland! One of the reasons I am getting Nitro 5 next week is it's awesome cooling system....those 4 vents and two fans won me over lol. Thin sleek laptops...well frankly those scare me...i need to see the vents, the price for living in a hot country.
i dont use flat surface i use a stand on a flat surface i use dell vostro 3500 it has a down air flow i cant use cooling pads for that ? so what should i do ?
Thank you! Honestly any pad that has fans directly in the Centre of the tray will do. There is little benefit of buying more expensive pads aside from the fact that they make slightly less noise.
gaming laptop omen 16 didnt even last a year before i had to get it repaired and that was less than a month ago and now it just overheats and turns off ffs
I just found out your channel as i was searching to buy a laptop and i love your reviews. there were few laptops I wanted to buy but now i have dropped the idea of buying it after your reviews and i am glad i did so.I am currently looking to buy Asus VivoBook X413FA i5 10th gen. Is it good or should i look for something else.
Glad I could help! The VivoBook is one of the better builds out there in my honest opinion. As I have not reviewed that specific model it would be unfair of me to give you a full opinion on it.
I use a electric fan for a cooling pad because I don’t wanna pay 15 dollars for something I will probably break because I break almost everything I get lol
Hi, when I start Cinebench2024 the cpu(Acer Nitro 17 i7: 13700HX, RTX 4060) immediately throttling, the fans are set up to max and the temperature hits 100C. The test runs for 10 minutes and the cpu clock speed drops to 3GHz(the cpu max frequency is 5GHz). The cpu score in cpu-monkey is 1371, but mine has 938. Also Intel XTU shows power limit throttling, the cpu is idle, and power limit and current/edp throttling at the same time while gaming. For example in Days Gone the fps are capped to 120(1440p) and the graphic setting are almost the highest, the cpu and gpu temps are about 75C, but the cpu frequency and frames drops(3GHz and ~90fps) from time to time(every 30-60 min) for 2-3min. Do you think these problems can be fixed with replacing the motherboard, the laptop is under warranty. I bought it two mounts ago and it is cooled with liquid metal thermal paste. Thanks!
I got my Inspiron 5509 the day before yesterday. I am not playing any games. Just a normal use. But it's getting hot at the bottom near the speakers. Sometimes the fan runs noisily. I don't know why. Please help me. I am using the laptop for the first time. India.
Is acer aspire 5 i5 11th gen mx350, 12gb ram, 1 tb ssd good. I am planning on buying it. Or is there other laptop around same price. I am confused. What do you recommend?
A cooling pad didn't help in my heating situation I am using a ryzen 3 laptop the same one u saw in your vid and i noticed the airholes are really small tell me if that is the case I might try getting a dust destroyer to see of that helps
is it normal for new laptop to overheat? i had some laptops never got hot and some that got extremely hot my old toshiba lenovo got hot but lasted long time . My 3 year old hp never gets hot but i just got a new one very thin super duper fast but it kinda warm should i return it??? please help its hp with i5
It is not normal for laptops to overheat when performing low use age activities. Make sure the laptop is well ventilated. If the issue persists consider getting an exchange or refund.
I mean while it’s not impossible it’s extremely unlikely a laptop would start a house fire unless the battery malfunctions. Modern day laptops have built in thermal inhibitors that scale down wattage and function if a certain heat threshold is reached making them very safe.
