This Trailer was near impossible to close the doors at any location. I forgot to mention in the video, all bolts are ran inside out. To prevent damage to freight. This repair took two weeks, due to supplies. Thank you Rod 👍

I’m currently stuck in Macon waiting for a trailer door repair. I could not for the life of me get the latches to close, it took all my might, some WD40, a cheat bar, sledgehammer, and two guys to help me just get it shut and connect the chains with a master lock. I slid the tandems, drove around, rocked the trailer and I backed in with no problems. I’m trying to see if there’s anything I could’ve done prevent this or if it’s just a crappy old trailer. Delivery is definitely gonna be couple hours late at the very least 👍
I did a bottom door panel on a roll door like a month ago. They hit it with a forklift today. Customer damage Sorry about your predicament Let’s hope it’s not too old of a trailer 🙏 Thank you for this comment
@@jerryodell1192 got it fixed at a truck & trailer. Problem seemed to be load distribution/trailer had some previous damage and I guess just some bad luck. Never really thought about how flexible those trailers need to be until I saw your video.
@@jonbovi5821 I’m actually bored watching those videos. I’ve taught so many people how to do this stuff. I’ve trained so many helpers. I have even helped guys start their own trucks.
Thank you!) can you tell me From what material the door was made? And where did you buy it? And where did you buy rubber bands for the door? Thanks for the video!!!
Any big rig trailer shop should have the doors Normally there, metal covered plywood in this case their composite The seals will come with it Thank you 🙏
