i noticed when using the restream chat for multiple streaming platforms you have to go in every time and select the youtube broadcast that you are going live with. especially if youre changing stream titles regularly. the one thing about youtube and restream chat i didnt like for youtube is there is an impressive amount of delay.
You are a real professional when it comes to keyboards. I really need the advice of a very knowleadgable person in keyboards. I bought the razer huntsman mini and then I heard of the woothing 60e. I want to say that I have really low experience with expensive keyboards but for whatever reason my vulcan roccat tkl feels nicer and more premium on touch - could be the back, the case etc, maybe its because its plastic and its more user friendly? than the razer huntsman mini. (i have the purple switches on my razer and no analog ones atm) - paid 120$ for it My question is, if I buy the woothing do you think it will be a change in percieved build quality since I head its made by plastic? Is it worth doing the upgrade? The most important things for me is performance and build quality. (woothing is 180$ in my country) - I am really sorry for the off topic but I think it helps you with the algorithm too
So the only issue I have come across here is, if you are triple streaming, you can't use vertical for 2 different sizes you can use vertical for a 16:9 and have all your twitch alerts seperare so they only show on twitch and you tube only shows on youtube, and if you use the multisrream plugin instead you can't make separate scenes to sepersre the twitch and you tube elements. It would be great if vertical allowed different screen sizes. Or multistrwam plugin allowed it's own scenes
Wait a minute. How's the process for the whole Apex Legends health bar? Like, I understand you use Affinity to cut it very precisely in a screenshot and then I guess you use an image mask but... How you manage to be able to move it around the canvas like at 3:37?
Make a mask in Illustrator/Affinity Designer/Inkscape/your graphics program of choice. Right click your gameplay > Add a filter > Image Mask/Blend > Select alpha channel in the drop down > Select your mask (should be a PNG file) That's basically it.
First off, great video! However, for some reason, my vertical stream plays on the standard RU-vid player with black bars on the sides when I have my stream on a private feed. I am wondering if the stream will change to the Shorts feed when I make it public or if I am missing something else. Anyone feedback would be helpful.
Whenever I add a second scene on AITUM Vertical it just fucks up all of my transitions. I tried deleting the transition matrix and all things related to no avail. I didn't want to program scene as sources showing up and hiding whenever I change horizontal scenes but I might have to. Oh well
Make a mask PNG file then add it with an "Image Mask/Blend" filter over your gameplay. You should use Source Clone to make a clone of your gameplay first, then apply the mask to the clone, otherwise you will crop your whole gameplay source.
@nuttylmao Great video. Thank you. So, to confirm, can I live stream two streams to the same RU-vid channel simultaneously, one vertical and one horizontal? Everything will be doubled up and separate, such as the RU-vid Studio stream setups, live views, and chats.
Can I ask if this was successful? currently this is what I'm trying to do as well, horizontal for twitch and aitum for vertical on youtube. Based off a comment I saw, looks like I have to schedule the stream each time on youtube before going live on aitum.
Fantastic video as usual, the only question I have about it is, what multi-chat method do you use with the horizontal chat on streams recently? I love the horizontal chat and its always used in my streams but have no idea how to make it work with multichat. Is that something you could do a video about, or is there a lot of coding etc that's been done that wouldn't work for a video?
So i'm having issues with my two youtube streams. I get two separate chrome tabs open with each key, and ive got the keys/stream urls set correctly with Atium Vertical/Multistream. But whichever stream i start from obs first, say the vertical, it sends to the vertical chrome tab but also changes my horizonal youtube chrome tab to the vertical stream key and now i have two tabs both running vertical. I can't get them to both run at the same time. I usually multistream youtube live, twitch and facebook live all at the same time. Vertical has been giving me issues!
I'm having the same issue...I may have figured it out though....Try making two dif. Streams, same name etc. But choose the one that has your horiz. Key from your main in OBS and leave the other that has your vert. Stream and key. Start both. Let me know as I cant test right now ..

I am sorry I don't really understand how I start both streams. I can only see one stream under Live content. How do I start both streams? After copy pasting the new stream key, do I change back to the old one?

Wait, at 3:23 what's the process for doing the mask. I'm assuming it's a mask. All my streams and shorts I currently have on my channel are missing the UI, I'd love to be able to add that but don't have any type of illustrator software. Thanks!
hey guys, I downloaded the Aitum plugin for OBS and I'm trying to stream horizontal/vertical at the same time. I keep getting the yellow bar error: RU-vid is not receiving enough video to maintain smooth streaming. As such, viewers will experience buffering. I AM able to successfully stream via OBS horizontally with no issues for the past couple of months. I've tried everything under the sun all YT videos I can find, it's ONLY since I've installed the Vertical plugin does it not work either Multi-stream or just Vertical. I've tried: Changing bitrates/resolution output/latency on stream Testing Just Horizontal vs Just Vertical vs Multi-streaming MacBook Pro: 2GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5, 16GB RAM, OS Sonoma 14.6.1, OBS 30.1.2 Has anyone else come across this issue before where the Vertical plugin just refuses to stream? It looks fine in OBS itself and everything is smooth, it's only when I start streaming does it freeze and throw errors in OBS.

So I’m trying to do the vertical stream with a Xbox and I have to use twitch to stream. Could I just use the cut tool to cut my face cam and put it in on the vertical just like you do with the health bar?
I love the way you explain but I need one help at 03:28 you cut around those game UI Health bar, etc elements and positioned them to your vertical OBS Canvas. You might have used Photoshop pen tool to do so but how did you added that those custom shaped game UI Health bar, etc elements on OBS canvas? Please make a video on that.

Waitwaitwaitwat! If you have auto-start and auto-stop enabled, why should you keep the one off? If both are on, then you will start over and over again after a crash from OBS itself. Right?
so when i tried building my vertical layout, i added a gamecapture in to the vert sources and it wouldnt show the image untill i disabled the source of the horizontal sources (even tho i made a new source in the vertical sources) is it not possible to use seperate sources but use the same .exe? in my case acs.exe?
hello i'm currently live trying to test this out (streaming vertically and horizontally on YT) viewers can only find only horizontal stream, not vertical. help :)
with streamer mode in discord I want the horizontal to be linked not the vertical, Do you have a special way to make sure this happens? I usually can have it work that I start horizonal first wait a bit than do the vertical. but it doesnt always work. Any ideas?
Did you get any answer or solution to this? My chatbot (cloudbot) only works on the vertical and not horizontal. Was scrolling through the comments to see if anyone has this question.
