Thanks to you, I now know that I can use a rubber sponge and Stucco Patch to get that elusive stucco finish that matches my old walls. I was using a green sponge float but the finish was just a little too smooth to match.

Thanks to your example I now know that I need one of those red rubber floats and stucco patch to get the elusive finish I've been struggling to match to my existing walls. I had some luck with the green sponge float and rapidset s mortar but it was a little too smooth to match the old finish.

You know that it comes in 50lb bags? They are hard to find sometimes, but it's worth it. Good job, I learned the hard way like you did. Good job by the way.
