The iPad is definitely a must. I love your point about forcing yourself to be uncomfortable while you study! That has pushed me to the next level. I’ll be incorporating these into my studying!
This is really helpful. I personally have difficulties taking notes from my iPad. I guess I will need to learn how to.. But one thing I used to do in undergrad is to print out the PowerPoint before the class, so that In class I just follow along with the professor by adding notes under each page of the power point. It was pretty efficient but I will Definetly learn how to utilized my iPad for dental school. 👍🏽
Test your knowledge is key. I honestly agree. Struggling with dental anatomy and I’m basically teaching myself because my professor just test or quiz us with tooth id and shows a morphology slides then go home.

where do you get practice questions from? i heard many dental school professors dont give out practice questions especially for the classes that requires pure memorizations. do you get them from online resources as well?

Hey man thanks for this video. I’m an upcoming D1 at Tufts. I know for me personally. Ipad powerpoint notes, rewatching lecture at 2x speed and practice questions help me the most. Have you seen anyone use resources they paid for to help with classes? I am considering DAT bootcamp D1/D2 subscription since you mentioned it. Also, how can you be successful in cadaver?
wassup bro, my bad for the late response! when I was a D1, I paid for Anatomy bootcamp, but yeah I guess it's called dental school bootcamp or whatever now lol. that contributed to me being successful in cadaver lab, but i also have a pretty photographic memory, so I was just attentive in class and went to a lot of the review sessions. Made it super easy for me. I usually tried to attend 2 review sessions before the exam.
