Oh damn I did have a couple of images of women with short hair rocking a baseball cap to add into this video but because this one was shorter than most I didn't need have the images I had found. But I have definitely seen it and in my opinion it looks great!

@@Thestyleinsider. baseball caps are more “conducive” to hair that’s straighter and finer/thinner ~ so less considerate of other types of natural hair (for example Afro) ~ while you included Black women in your montage :) language around style all reflects inclusivity commitments and awareness ~~ thanks for asking what you missed! I’m really not the best person to respond ~ but such an important conversation to give attention to

Baseball caps aren’t about gender, nor do they have anything to do with whether one is a “lady” or not. Baseball caps (note the *name)* have their origins in sports: running, hiking, fishing, camping, golf, and yes, baseball. Thankfully, gone are the days when most sports were predominantly male-dominated! The difference more recently is that both men and women have been dressing more casually, for function and for comfort, so items formerly reserved for leisure activities have entered the everyday wardrobe. Many enjoy mixing styles, but if that isn’t you, just don’t wear them. We should dress to please ourselves and appreciate when others do the same.

Please keep in mind that the women you see in leggings, mini skirts, menswear-inspired styles, and other fashion that you find offensive may be quite “moral” in the most profound ways. They may devote much of their lives to volunteer work or careers that serve the needy, advocate for justice, work to protect the planet for future generations, or save lives. They may be selflessly caring for disabled loved ones, raising responsible and compassionate children, speaking up for those unable to do so for themselves. These are the *substantive* ways a “lady” may choose to “exert influence in the world.” They may not dress to your standards, believe in the same god, or any god(s), but none of those things make them a bad person. The quotes you chose may be important to you, but billions of people around the world live loving and morals lives without believing exactly as you do. Many of us see virtue in kindness and *action* as being much more important than whether someone falls in line behind any particular religious doctrine, or how they choose to dress. Again, you do you, but judging others for having a different worldview -regardless of how exemplary their actual *behavior* may be- is… well, the opposite of virtue.
