I love the idea of this video! I just wish more time was spent showing several examples of each category and then showing how to put them together. For example showing 10 examples of basics on their own, then 10 examples of the detailed pieces, and so on before showing them all together. Shea, can you do another video like this and go more in depth?
Based on your formula for the first outfit, I thought for the 2nd outfit that the basic was the jeans, the star was the print blouse, the detail was the jacket and the accessory was the purse.
I can put together great outfits. I run into trouble when I want to dress according to the weather. For example, wearing a blazer with pants is a fabulous outfit, but I don’t want to wear that when it’s so hot.
I am a personal stylist in Florida but have styled women in many different climates, including my original climate, Pennsylvania. For the warmer weather, opt for blazers in lightweight materials or linen and opt for unlined or lightly lined styles. Hope that helps!
@@missnobody9475 Oh that's tough! Some of my clients in warm climates will layer with structured button down shirts as opposed to blazers and jackets. We joke and call them "shackets"- shirts as jackets. That's how we get around the heat on my clients who prefer coverage and layers. Email me anytime!

This was the first video of ever saw of Shea. I liked the video I subscribed to her channel and I even saved the video in my folder so I can reference it later on. Three years later I am still following Shea. Her personality comes out a lot more in the current videos. She is still friendly in this video but she clearly has grown and become more comfortable. This video is still so true in making an outfit.

Was very happy to see this. I admit I went off this channel because of all the shopping/consumerism it promoted, even though I think Shea is lovely. However it popped up in my recommendations and seeing her talk about more sustainable, responsible consumerism with thredup, or at least present it as an option, was definitely a warm fuzzy moment for me...

Hi Shea! Can you do two videos about bags......1. How do you take care of and store them? Do you stuff them when they’re not being used? Do you polish them/condition the leather? 2. Designer vs. Luxury bags. Designers like Kate Spade, Tory Burch and Michael Kors........expensive but A LOT more attainable to many than Chanel, LV and Chloe. Are there major quality differences or is it because of the Luxury name that demands the price. Sorry for all the questions......I love your channel and find myself looking at all these luxury items. I am willing to save up and splurge if it’s really worth it. You make everything look so beautiful on you and I love your smile and positivity😊. Even to get more detailed and to show the different shoe choices with one outfit and how they can change the look. I struggle with wanting to look cute but reaching for the comfort pairs that bring my outfit down. I need to see how low I go.
