I'm 16 and have always loved dressing up, but always lacken in the casual wear, and broke alot of suit rules, Your videos have helped tremendously whether it be the hygien ones, or the clothes ones to help me look better, feel better, and be better, than you antonio! Love from Maine
Hi I have flat hair too. Does this actually help and do u use a blowdryer and also what styling product u use. My problem is that my hair sensitive to air i need something to make it hold.
With all respect to Aaron (Alpha M), Jose (Teaching Mens fashion), and John (Fashion over 40), but Antonio is the Michael Jordan of the RU-vid fashion community. Thank you to all of you!
I think this video is a lot more helpful and informative than 'this is what you should wear'. The way a person styles their hair makes a huge difference in their appearance.
This might sound silly but if you are starting out and you just spent some $$ getting set up don’t forget to put on your shirt first if it’s a pull over. Nothing like clipping your own wings when you get that first perfect hair and you mush it and wreck it 😂.
I'm a bit old fashioned - I use Vitalis or Protein 29 - sparingly (getting more difficult to find). Also use a mud - mixed very slightly with water - occasionally. A trick I learned - is to take hair spray and give your brush a slight mist - brush your hair the way you want it - stays... Great content - especially the Cape / Cloak vid - been trying to find a good grey great coat.
Absolutely. Just recently discovered styling powder. I have never had this much volume and have tried everything from gel, regular, medium, and max hold pomade, spray, anything to try to give my very fine hair volume. My routine now is to wash, blow dry, when half dry, add a very small amount of clay brush and style with a comb, finish drying, add a little powder, style. Best hard part pompadour I have ever had.
As a bald barber let me say. Don't loose your mind, shave off what is left and keep it shaved. Next grow some facial hair. Own the look and don't be afraid of the commitment. Own the look. I have been shaving my head daily for over 40 years and I like the look and feel. I also have customers that come in weekly for head shave and beard clean up.
Lucky you don't have thin hair, but I have thick European hair and it's also dense hair. So I have to do what we in Sweden call Renger shaving the hair (just a few millimeters high hair). I have to do this so that the scalp can breathe and so that I don't get sores on the scalp.
Sounds like he's making up a load of crap. Not even brushing and drying the correct direction. But still kinda like it.. Confidence always works. Edit: ok he touched on going in the opposite direction so that's good
Right? I thought it was just me. Talks about removing all oil/product from your hair so as not to weigh it down, then uses conditioner AND adds pre-style product AND fiber paste. This guy isn't exactly sporting a great style either.
He has an Italian first and surname. FYI - the first “Latinos” were Roman/Italian not Spanish/South American (Latina is a district of Rome - Latin is the basis of the Italian/Spanish and French languages). The phrase “Latino” was high jacked by Anglo-European Americans to mean anyone they perceived to be from Mexico / South America of Spanish/Native decent.
I am not trying to be disrespectful or anything but please it's a request to stop using wax and other products for ur hair . Ur hairline has started receiding and soon u will start going bald .
1 minute in and you’re giving terrible advice. For one, you don’t want to wash your hair every day. Once or twice a week, that’s it. Washing your hair every day will damage your hair and dry out your scalp by stripping it of it’s natural oils. Also *never* use warm or hot water to rinse your hair. The detergents in shampoos will lift your hair and scalp’s natural oils to begin with. Rinsing with warm or hot water will further strip away those oils and dry out your hair beyond belief. No amount of conditioner will fix that problem. Rinse with cold or lukewarm water. When it comes to drying your hair, squeeze out as much water as possible with your hands first, then use a towel to pat-dry your hair. Don’t excessively or aggressively rub your hair with your towel, either. Doing so may pull out your hair from your scalp, further thinning it. Do not air dry your hair. Studies have shown that air drying your hair may also cause damage. Instead, blow dry your hair on the lowest heat setting, keeping the blow dryer about 6” from your head. Blow drying will give you the volume you are looking for.
trust me, my hair is so thin and bad it gets so dirty after a single day.. i need to wash it every day or else it looks like i didn't wash it for a month. and i did an experiement when i had summer breaks to not wash my hair at all for like a month or so. or only wash it without shampoo. it didn't help at all. it's hopeless.
Hey RMRS, been a big supporter of your channel for a while now. Improved my style, and smell (thanks to your fragrance recommendations), and I would like you to know that you genuinely developed me into a better person. Keep doing you, enjoyed the video, greetings from a 17-year old in Denmark!
I'm a 16-year old from the states and I agree! He has inspired me within the last couple days to reorganize my closet and to look better and feel better, even started making shopping plans because of him, Antonio is Awesome!
I've been watching your videos for a couple years now and I just want to say thank you for all you have done, every time I have wanted research something that has to do with grooming or men's style you have it covered, I really appreciate it.
When it is cold and you go to work, you want to wear a hat. During the summer you might drive to work with a motorcycle wearing a full face helmet. I guess you’re not putting that much effort styling your hair then? Maybe you also use different products? I assume the tips in the video are for those not using hats or helmets at all?
Very informative. Recently saw a new barber that convinced me that fiber was not the solution and a blow dryer with palmade was. The effect is night a day but I am still working on my technique to match his outcome versus mine. This video reinforced that I am on the right track!!
Hey! Love your channel. Could you make a video about dressing up as a teenager? It'd be super helpful for figuring out what's appropriate and stylish for different occasions. Thanks!
What about combs?..I’ve carried one of those cheap 3 or 4 inch plain black basic dollar store combs in my back pocket as one of my EDC items..is it ok?
If you're doing a hard core part and styling it yourself, then you're probably not looking great. The natural direction of your hair can.. Ugh too tired to explain. I wish I could correct this
