Thank you, so many helpful and great styling suggestions! Appreciate knowing how to take a neutral up a notch by adding just the right accessory or a different texture. BTW, you look beautiful in all your outfits. Love your presentation!
Mila Mila you are looking too too incredible incredible and I really really love your style so so so much and I wish you have a adorable week ahead 💖💖💖
Thank you so much, Mariana 🤍 this means a lot to me! The video was definitely more than just a “clothing haul”, I wanted to provide some value to whoever loves neutrals and could use some tips. ☺️ I’ve had a good experience with the brand so far, but you do have to return at your own expense! They have really nice clothes, but some others that are not really my style. Like any brands, I think we should be picky about our choices hehe
I like neutrals, especially the light ones like white and taupe, but they’re not all I wear. l love soft, light and cool-toned colors like pale blues, cool pinks and greens, as well as near-neutrals like navy and burgundy. Khaki-green, one of the near-neutrals, is also a favorite color for my wardrobe. Bright, clear, and saturated, yellowish/orangish, or very dark colors just don’t suit my dominantly “Soft” coloring. Black makes me look ill, but it’s hard to have a chic, classic wardrobe without any black at all. So, I wear some, but wear makeup (I don’t usually) with it and something white or light near my face, a white collar is perfect. I’m not a fan of black bottoms, or all-dark bottoms, not everyone, including me, wants to make their bottom half look smaller. I prefer light-colored bottoms, my hips, bottom and thighs are skinny, and I think this look is just more chic and less predictable.
The silk pieces are stunning! I noticed on the website they don’t recommend to wear it with light colored clothes due to fading - do you have any feedback on that?? I really like the skirt in this fabric!
Hi Mila, in your most recent stories on instagram you were wearing what looked like a black linen top with a matching skirt/pants - what was that? And what earrings were you wearing? So beautiful
They run very small, especially in the waist and bust. If I use the size chart, I get an ok fit, but the shoulders are strangely wide for such tiny bodices. My regular US size number/letter is too tight for my Euro-descent rib cage, but huge at the armpit height. Hope this helps, don’t assume they are equivalent to US/Euro sizes, they aren’t, use their size chart instead🙂
Thank you! That's interesting, because their size chart does seem to match most European brands, like mango, h&m etc. I usually wear an S, sometimes XS, very rarely an M. I'm hesitant to order from Goelia as returns seem like a hassle.
I like a lot of Goelia styles, but they have a strange mix of some nice, breathable natural fibers like silk and cashmere and some really awful plastic ones, like acetate dresses with polyester linings - two layers of hot, sweaty, non-breathable plastics! Always use the size chart, their letter and number sizes are tiny compared to US/Euro ones. I’m a US size 6-8, but their size Large blazer I bought won’t even button! I often buy XLs to accommodate my larger ribcage and bust, 34 D, or at least a Large, depending on the cut and style. If they want to do well in the US apparel market, by far the world’s largest and most profitable, they need to adapt their sizing and cut out the plastic crap! I also really hate their aggressive website, with all those blinking, etc. popups that interfere with browsing and try to add a sense of urgency - “Buy Now”!
