Gents your magic is working on me .As I have said not great fan of loafers in general but the light tassel style I met give a try.But not without regular socks nobody wants to see my pale Limey skin.Cheers Gentlemen.
Hi from the UK Great video Guys. I love loafers and you hit the nail on the head about elegant and classy. I love to dress in a cool classy way with a bit of a twist. I normally rock a darker slim denim but Really like the sound of white denim too with suede loafer. Keep up the good work Thanks Laith
Very nice video! Love the breakdown of different types of loafers and how to style them. Been looking for a video like this for a while. Keep it up guys!
i wasn't always a loafers' fan, but i have gown to like them now, with tassel loafers being my favourite. i like 3-5 shown in this video,, not so much the first 2. btw blake, that suede loafer seems a tad big for your left foot, isn't it? :p
Hey George and Blake! Great work on your videos lately! I was wondering if you could make a video on brown suits? There aren’t a lot of videos on them, and I would love to see how you would pair a brown suit with different shirts, ties and shoes. I got gifted a brown suit recently and I’m looking for some inspiration haha!
George, I love the look of the M Gemi Fiocco loafer - especially sockless. In looking at the M Gemi website and reading the reviews a couple people indicated the shoe runs large, and to down size by 1/2 or a whole size (especially if you want to wear them sockless). How do your M Gemi loafers fit? Would you say they run big, or true to size? Thanks!
They fit me perfect as is but they are also the only shoe I own that I can put on without a shoe horn comfortably. So if you have a thinner foot size down by half
I'm an older guy,... so the tapered pants thing really isn't applicable (my opinion), I prefer slacks with a little more..."DRAPE"... Wich loafer "PRESENTS" best in your opinion?
@@gentslounge THANKS !.... love your work.... the visual example really helps define the details that are not always obvious on the table.👍 P.S. I just purchased a pair of (very casual) COLE HAAN kilties.... and you guys are "DEAD ON".....as they are perfect with shorts😀
It depends on how you plan to wear them and what your wardrobe looks like. For me I don't own many black shoes other than oxfords but Blake wears a lot more black than I do. I would say brown goes with more but it depends on how you dress regularly. -G
In my opinion: Penny loafers rocks. 100% elegant even for casual or semi formal. Boot loafers are just casual. Horsebit loafers makes noise while walking. Tessa loafers? You could check in your video even in slow motion how those ugly leather mustache goes up and down. No disrespect or trying to offend and unecessarly insult your work. You guys are gentelmens who talk about almost everything to other gentleman, therefore i respect your work. It was ment this day to be the topic about this leather mustache caring loafers and you nailed it. Kind regards and pardon my broken english... Ciao!
NEVER wear Your Shoes 👞 without Socks 🧦 Your feet 🦶🏻 will smell Horrible. Unless you are wearing slippers or boat shoes this is very stupid thing to do
