I am tall and somewhat on the slimmer side. I wear nothing larger than a medium. Not tight but snug fitting clothes look the best on me. Even jackets, over shirts, etc are really right to size. I used to buy clothes that were too big for me and that’s the worst, seems have to be right on the shoulder and that’s how I know a good fit.
Knee length / slightly below knee length looks WAY better on a taller guy. For Short Kings, a couple of inches above knee suits best. Those mid-thigh length overcoats are just… meh.
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: (Acts 17:30) Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. (Psalms 51:1-4)
What i like to call new age vs old age cigar smokers are different. If you go to a cigar lounge that you have to pay a membership fee. Thats old age cigar smokers where rules need to be followed like rolling the ash off the tray and all that. New age cigar lounges. Differ, if they see you doing all that stuff you look like a snobby prick. To put the ash in the tray just simply tap it with your finger. You know you have a perfect ash drop when you only need 1 tap of the finger to take the ash out. Another new age thing ive seen is. And i know call me crazy INFUSED cigars are in now. Im talking your Acids, youre tatianas, your patel java mint. Those are super popular. People still smoke those heavy maduros. But at this point its more because the old age manufacturers go by tradition and not by what people want. Which is totally fine! Theres nothing wrong with that but obviously companies like CAO and Drew estate have realized. Holy crud young people want flavors. Lets give them flavor they can actually taste. Gone are the days of the legit leather flavored cigar. As in that used to be a selling point... it tastes like leather. And in are the days of aromatic cigars that actually taste like the aromatic it puts out. The only real thing that has stayed is the holding of the cigar. The v hold like a cigarette still screams newbie unless youre a woman then apparently thats A ok. Well idk what else to say but this is definitely the old age of smoking cigars
Well a guy i know comes to my ice rink and he wears black leather soled Wholecut Joseph Cheaney shoes and he has no problem dressing them down with dark tan corduroy jeans, button down and navy zip neck sweater! I’d say they’re easier to dress down than the Captoe black oxford but even that can be dressed down by changing the colour of laces! Just make sure it’s not too camp in colour unless that’s your thing of course!😊
