As a fellow Canadian, and someone who is also struggling with maintaining my 3 words in our winter I’ve just ordered a pair of waterproof Ariat cowboy boots. Granted, one of my 3 words that Allison gave me (yes it’s you who inspired me to contact her-best decision ever!) is Western but you might like how sleek some of their boots are but with great Winter ready soles. I love winter clothes. I was never into fashion until the last couple of years and I'm in my 50's. I live in the Chicago area and I've been layering turtlenecks and sweaters since I was a little kid because I was always so cold. I never knew it was fashionable I just wanted to be warm. Now I'm going to feel so stylish in my sweaters and turtlenecks. I love these styling videos I have the same style words so these videos have been really helpful. Thank you for making them!

Turtlenecks are great piece to layer on! Crewnecks, sweaters, you name it! But I prefer those with the shorter neck, I feel like they suit me more. Love the fashion vids, always! 🤍

I love these styling videos! It’s making me consider what my 3 words would be. I feel like I have an aspirational style that I’m drawn to, but I work from home and so sometimes no one sees me besides my husband 5 days a week. I feel like I don’t put enough effort into styling myself for days that I don’t leave the house, since I would rather just be comfortable

I’ve really loved this series. It would be so cool to have her come into my closet and make outfits for me. What a fun job too! Thank you for sharing what you’ve learned with us too, I’ve used several of the tips! I don’t think I can find three words. I think it would be better if I could stick to three, I’d be less overwhelmed at times, but I just have so many sides to me that I want to dress for. I’m athletic chic, I’m girly, I’m tomboy, I’m classic, I’m elegant, I’m playful, I’m also a farm girl. I want all these moods in my closet. Just me?!

You got me thinking about what would be my 3 words and I laughed when I realised that no 2. and no.3 are chic and effortless respectively, but my no1. is CHANGEABLE - because I love and regularly switch between the styles typical for the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s...and so it goes up until current modern trends.

By the way, the people that criticize you over your fashion videos and saying things like they're not original or whatever are not the people that you're trying to help right now, and maybe that's what you should think about when you read comments like that. There's a lot of us out here on the same journey. Have no idea what the heck we're doing when I comes to fashion and feeling good and in our bodies and our clothes. Your videos are for them or us. I love layering my clothing :) and adore neon green sweaters n eyemakeup. LOVE the black pants n sweater then the black /white stripe sweater over it. It might sound silly, but I have recently learned a trick of placing a silky (in texture) scarf over my face when putting on/taking off any top garment, but especially one that is tight around the neck. It works! Still not sure how not to disturb the hair up do tho. :)
