My teenage son, who is Autistic, really wants to start a t-shirt company. We are watching this together tonight and we both agree this has been one of the most helpful videos we've watched. Thanks so much! We are newbies and we are so thankful for amazing people like you who take the time to share you experience!
now i may be in trouble with the hubby because i think i need all these items to do shirts! Printer and press on my new must have list. love that you make it look so easy!
Thanks again for another great, easy-to-understand video. I recently converted an Epson 2760 and have been sublimating non-stop. You are so correct about the Starcraft Heat Press and I, unfortunately, can attest to your comment about it flying off the shelves. Just yesterday I was about to buy one from 143 Vinyl. I had been waiting for it to be back in stock. I saw it was back in stock but I was at work and had to go to a meeting. This morning I went to buy it and as the expression goes, "if you snooze, you lose!" it is again, "Out of Stock". I'm sure your video caused a run on the machine!! Thanks a lot, Michael!! lol. So I am back waiting to buy the heat press and will continue to sublimate with my Cricut Easy Press 2 and their Mug Press as well. Both have been working fine. You're the best.
Thank You Lewis!! That really means the world to me to have such amazing encouragement from all of you guys! I'm holding out hope that you'll get a heat press here soon!!! Good luck in the mean time :). Have an awesome day!
I have been having a rough time sublimating, I have a Epson ET and it will print some of my images, I have worked on this for 2 days but I did see a RU-vid video that helped me alot...I truly enjoy your videos...keep up the good work
I have the same printer, I haven’t gotten started yet. I’m a bit nervous. Are the settings the same like he shows in this video? Do you use this program or design space? I’m still confused how to change things to png, svg, and all that good stuff lol
@@valeriebadillo3113 dont use design space for sublimation, it is not suited for that. unless you are going to be doing a "print and cut" to sublimate onto some glitter HTV, but even then there are better ways to go about it.
I was so excited when I watched this video, not only because you made sublimation that much easier (I have been doing mugs using print and cut with Cricut, which as you know is limited in size), but you demystified Canva and how to print with it. I already have the Starcraft clamshell heat press, so I know that it’s one part of the equation that I don’t have to worry about. Thank you so much for taking time to thoroughly test products you use and I can’t wait for the new sublimation paper to come out. If it’s good enough for Mr. Crafty Pants, I know it will be good enough for me! ❤️
Aww thank you Cathy! That is so sweet!! I really do try my best to put everything through the wringer before I ever showing it on my channel...presenting quality content and materials is always SUPER important to me! Thank you for watching :)
I have had my Cricut Maker for about 6 mos and have mastered quite a few things. However, I was totally intimidated by sublimation printing until THIS video! Thank you and I’m ready to start buying the equipment you recommended and take my creations to a new level!💯😎
I just tried the sublimation for the first time following your instructions and it turned out great! Thank you for all you do, love watching your videos, so easy to follow.
You definitely make it easy to understand. I like how you highlight what you are clicking on the computer. You dont go to fast and you are pleasant to watch. I subscribed and looking forward to learning more. Thank you
thank you so much for this video...I am a total newby to the sublimation game..I just got my ink and new printer yesterday and was so confused where to start...and knowing the restrictions of size on cricut I was a bit dismayed but I use Canva all the time and never even thought to use it for sublimation...yaahooo!!! What a load off my shoulders..thank you thank you thank you
Thank you, Michael. You are a good teacher, not to mention entertaining. Sublimation is so new to me that I just ordered my first printer, paper and ink today. I really enjoy watching your videos.
Thank you so much! I'm considering buying a sublimation printer and getting started but I'm doing a lot of research right now before I spend the money. This video was VERY helpful!!
I have a friend who is learning how to sublimat and I can't wait cause we are hoping to figure a way to do rainbow ties for my wedding!!! Love, love, love this video and all the ideas we will come up with.
Thank you so much for this video. I have been wanting to start doing sublimation. One thing I learned, is to use canva to upload the png. Thanks for all you do! ❤️
Having a different type of project to switch to that doesn't require weeding is definitely fun to keep in your back pocket....variety is the spice of life they say LOL
Thank you so much Michael! I recently bought a Cricut Maker and had no idea of all the amazing things it could do, until I came across your RU-vid videos. You are undoubtedly the best teacher out there. Thanks to you, I've learned how to do so many amazing projects. The fabulous explanations you give have made me enjoy it so much more! I actually didn't know what sublimation ink printing was until I watched this. I love it! It looks so good and love how it blends in with the fabric. I'm not big on using HTV on t-shirts either, because of exactly what you said, how it feels. I can't wait to purchase a sublimation printer and the heat press so I can make some awesome shirts too. Thank you so much for taking the time to teach all of us how to use all of these different craft machines and software. And by the way love 143 vinyl, thanks for all the discounts too. Can't wait to see the type of paper you used for when I'm able to purchase the products needed for sublimation. Thank you so much for being Mr. Crafty Pants and opening up the door for me to enjoy what little bit of free time I have being crafty! 💗
I just watched this and it helped me SO much! Thank you for giving us such helpful info. I always find your page when I need to learn something new with crafting ❤
Thank you for posting this video! I'm new with cricut and love HTV but there are some designs that just can't be achieved with layering vinyl. This video helped so much to explain the benefits and showcased the process so I could understand easily.
Total sublimation newbie...still unpacking all the equipment. Thanks soooo much for the info. I love how you didn't assume that I already knew everything.🙃 The use of Canva for the design particularly helpful. I currently have been using Silhouette for designs. It's really a great program, but as I understand, it doesn't do as well for colors.
I used to do sublimation years ago. I converted an Epson 7110 and it worked great. After watching your video - loved it and getting that print - I am going to get it back out since I can still buy ink for it. I'm excited to see what paper you will be announcing since I will need to order.
Hi Michael. I really enjoy watching your videos. I don't own a cricut or sublimation printer (yet). But I have been doing research into this to determine if I want to make that purchase. I watched a ton of videos on RU-vid and then I came across your channel. It has been my favorite to watch! I have learned so much from watching you making your projects. Thank you so much!
That's awesome Stacy! I'm so glad you found my channel :) :) When it comes to crafting, I say just go for it!! Dive in and have fun with it :) Thanks for watching!
@@mrcraftypants I'm so glad I found your channel too! Learning from you is so much fun! ps. I think you sold me on the Sublimation printer and heat press! That came out awesome!
Michael you are such a great teacher! Your positive vibe and enthusiasm can give anyone motivation or strength to do any craft! Thanks for the content 👚❤️❤️✂️
I LOVE your channel! Been watching you for a little over a month and honestly cannot get enough! Now I need to buy a sublimation printer. I just bought ferric chloride for the metal tumblers and can’t wait to try it out. THANK YOU!!!!
Yay! Thank you!! I seriously have been so blessed with AMAZING subscribers like you...good luck with the tumblers!! I'm sure they will look great!! When you're ready, you can find the sublimation printer I used in the video here www.143vinyl.com/sublimation-printers/?partner=339438 and if you use code "crafty" that will save ya an extra 5% :).
