This is just what i needed. I graduated in 2019 and bs the fall after i graduated and ended up taking a gap year. I’m finally getting ready to go back to school and am enrolled at Cedar Valley for this fall. Thank you for this video!

how was that??, im in the end of my gap year now looking to go back to school. i'm between community school or online for my main classes then transfer over( pros gives me more time to save nd get my certificate in nails or something for an extra sude hustle if i wanted🤷🏽‍♀️) or immeaditely go into college to have the full experience (cons idk what to pick or do or what school to even pick)..but i do want to know how it was going back and how u did it.

I’m graduating this year and I’m on the fence about whether I should get my associates degree then transfer or go to the school I want to right away. I want to save money of course😂 but then again I don’t want to miss out on the freshman year at a HBCU.... idk what to do

Hey Ishani! I definitely understand how you feel! Especially when I was a senior at this time. I encourage you write down some personal pros and cons in order to make a decision to attend community college your first years or going off to a university. From my experience you are learning the SAME thing at community college as you will at a university when studying your basics. Also, take in consideration of the pandemic; students at universities (including me) are STRUGGLING during this time with the treatment by universities and professors. Our mental health and physical energy is suffering and most staff at universities don't understand. Whereas at a community college there's not as much pressure. But ultimately I think it's very important for you to keep thinking on it AND PLS SAVE AS MUCH MONEY AS YOU CAN BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO GO OFF!!

Your going to get the college experience Regardless😂😂. I missed out on freshman AND sophomore as well cause Im currently in a CC as well and bout to transfer to my dream school as a junior.

What did you choose bc im literally in the same boat, I want to go to an hbcu after i graduate but going to a community college is definitely gonna save me money but I don’t wanna miss out on my freshman year and I’m scared ima feel lonely if i go to a community college

@@jazzyb9286 heyyyy i ended up jus going to school!!! I attend the illustrious Tuskegee University and major in nursing 😭 I love it and I’m really glad I decided to go. I jus have a on campus job and I’m saving money up this summer so I can have a fun semester in tha fall😭😭 just apply for scholarships do your FAFSA, apply for grants and make a payment plan if jeeded

Hi, i want to studying in a community college as an international student but i don't know what am i to do? or how can i get scholarship for the transfer university and which university is appropriate for me because my high school gpa is not too high to go to university now, so i think that community college is a good opportunity for me. what am i supposed to do? Hey Belinay! So I am not familiar of the International education system. However, I think it will be smart for you to attend a community college so that you can get your gpa up. The only advice I can give you is to share your concerns with your counselors/advisors or any of your school's guidance aids. Or you can visit any community college advisors to ask for advice.

Needed this. I just got my associates degree and my program transfers to only one university but I don’t wanna go there. Could I just use my general credit to transfer if it meets the minimum limit??

Definitely don’t apply to any school that you know you don’t want to go to! I suggest for you to make a list of the schools you’re interested in and schedule a meeting with their admissions advisor. Try to find an advisor who specializes in transfer students and work with them to see what you need to do to transfer!
