Thanks dude. I’ve yet to test the real accuracy. Usually I’m very meticulous about finding islands myself and because I don’t trust the computer it makes me more vigilant when looking for them haha

Ain’t that the truth. Fail to prepare means prepare to fail.

To be honest I don’t miss islands this way cos it usually gives you the main ones and the while you’re in the area you can scroll around and see what else is an island. Sometimes the red dot makes it difficult to see the exact point you wanna put the support. But it really is a valuable tool!!

How it helps a bit.

Yea I agree but I really like textured models cos you can hide the support marks in the textures. I supported your model in this same way. Using only medium and light settings. And she’s got loads of details.

What's your opinion on presupported files from say loot/archvillain games?

There was 3 or 4 poses but they all looked very very similar to each other. I have a couple from makers cult! They are really good! It’s a wild world we live in now the fact we can just make these things in our homes is incredible!

@@Groundeffected oh yeah I meant two as in a version that was mostly plain and another version that has tons of details and symbols. At least in the two I downloaded 😅 but yeah Makers Cult is the way to get ha I am making stuff up for OnePageRules atm. Printing off their APC like tank (sort of like a 40k rhino) I like to print everything off at .03 layer level just that bit more smoother 😃.

Did I use the same support for minis and 1/4scale. Mostly use my mediums throughout 90% of things

Yep most definitely I use them for minis 32mm and 1/4scale statues same settings rarely ever use the large support mostly just mediums and some Rare smalls

Simply put you can use the free version with the same results. I did for almost a year. And even the free version was better than chitubox that kept crashing on me all the time. And I promote who ever I want to promote, paid for this myself out my own pocket after I realised how much more I like it than all the other slicers. Most success rate I’ve ever had using lychee. And the one thing that made me choose this over all the others is the auto save feature which saves everything you do saving hours worth of work when things go wrong or your computer crashes etc. either way no one said you have to use it, I will promote things that make my hobby easier and stuff I use to do my hobby. If you don’t like it not much I can do about that is there?

Yes. You are alone in quickly deleting a software without actually giving it a chance to see you can do most of the work in the free version lol lychee is way better than its competitors and deserve the support to continue their awesome service.
