Degrees, minutes, and seconds are just like time, so in order to add 00°-35-52 + 25°-34-22, you would have to change them into decimal form, add, then convert back to HMS
Why do some Surveyors like to put a 0 in front of a degree ready like say N 015 E, what does this help and what does it indicate to another Surveyor? Could you briefly explain the reason?
I would assume they were taught to place all number characters as a degree. So instead of N1-24'-36" E they were taught N001-24'36"E. It all means the same.
