Buy extra legroom seats. I had it on a 18 hour trip from SIN > Narita > LAX and it was 100% worth it. Not optional if you are tall and are going on a long haul flight.

probably TMI, but if you want to eat whatever you want out of boredom and fart stress free on a flight, there's anti-flatulence underwear you could buy and equip yourself with. The UK brand 'Shreddies ' is pretty legit, and I have battle-tested their undershort in the office, hanging out with friends, etc.
