My brother has been in the hospital for a few weeks. I found on his floor, there is this outdoor patio area that some patients can go out onto. It wasn't a huge area, but it was enough to walk around, get some fresh air, get in the sunshine, provide a more open space to visit friends and family, etc.

I'm currently in the hospital. I've been here for 2 weeks so far. Currently recovering from a head on collision crash. I have a broken left arm, left leg, left foot, right hip, both wrists broken, broken rib, my right elbow was chipped or something by the triceps, and I think my butt is broken. All my surgery is done so I'm now in recovery. I'm just thankful there's been no spinal or brain damage. Being stuck in a bed and not having the comforts of my own home is really starting to get to me. The physios have been a great help in terms of improving my mobility. They've even managed to get me to stand on my own which allows me to sit in a chair which you are right about, it makes a massive impact on your mental health while in hospital. If anyone has or is currently going through a similar thing please reach out :)

I have to undergo hospital stays quite a bit as well due to my Health. Sometimes they're really short other times they are pretty long I've even had to stay in the hospital overseas at times. But when I'm in the country I stay in this wonderful wonderful Catholic Hospital in my area and one time during one of my longer stays I brought all of my middle eastern musical instruments with me. Every time I be playing one of them either my nurse or mypct would always come stop by and listen and on occasions I would get a middle-eastern nurse that I am very close with and if I was playing a song she was familiar with she would actually sing it. I play a couple of stringed instruments and a middle eastern flute and because of the nature of my health even prior to 2020 I wasn't allowed to leave my room without wearing a mask so I couldn't play the flute well the nurse walk me but sometimes my nurse would wheel me around in my bed or in a chair as I was playing my oud which is one of the Middle Eastern stringed instruments I play. One time when I went by while I was playing a popular Syrian song two Middle Eastern doctors heard the song and started clapping and singing During one of my hospital stays it was a day that I would have to get a lot of poking and prodding done at once and because I cannot see too well my pain tolerance is not the best it was a day that one of the nurses that I've known since I was little was working there and it was the middle easterners that I'm really close to not to be clear I am not middle-eastern myself but I speak the language and I can play the instruments and the reason why that is is because I attend a middle eastern Catholic Rite. During one of my walks she was helping me brush up on my Arabic and I told her in Arabic that I was quite nervous about the upcoming poking and prodding and then she told me that my Hospital doctor knows how to play oud just like I do and she told me during my poking and prodding he'll be done seeing patients for the day. She asked me what would I think if she could get him to come in my room and play popular Middle Eastern dabke songs specifically Syrian and Lebanese well she and the charge nurse did the work they needed to do on me. When I heard this possibility I was actually excited when my nurse told my doctor he jumped up at the idea. So while the nurses were doing what they needed to do and while the PCT with next to me keeping me calm my doctor and I we're both singing popular middle eastern songs while he played them on my oud. Even my nurse joy and then. Another quick memory was when I was really missing my Eastern Catholic mass even though I was in a Catholic Hospital it just wasn't the same so my priests came to the hospital's big church and with his help they were able to do what they could do to convert the hospital Church into a traditional Maronite Catholic Church. They didn't go all out but they got the essentials and one of the nurses asked if I wanted to go to mass and I said sure but when we got close to the hospital chapel I heard Maronite chanting and I heard those iconic Eastern Bells and I was able to have a Maronite Mass after a long time of going without it the best part of that was that they were able to get my actual Maronite priest to come and do it and while I was staying in the hospital chapel for a little bit after Mass praying and Thanksgiving my priest went to my room and left me little icons from the Maronite Church and even left me a little statue of one of our patron saints. And after Mass when I got back to my room I was able to talk to my priest attend confession and do Maronite prayers with him

I love your video. I’ve been in, and out of hospitals since I was a baby. With 50 surgeries under my belt. That I have undergone. I had a back-to-back hospital stay in the last month. The first time it was from October 1st-8th this year. Second time was from October 27th-31st. I was able to get out five days before my birthday. Both times I had my iPhone. It has lots of games on it. So, I was never bored. If there was nothing good on TV.

Sunlight is much more harsh than fluorescent lighting. Sunlight can be used to start fires.
