I’m not sure if listening to the captain’s instructions is always the right thing to do. in the Sewol ferry tragedy hundreds of high school students all listened to the captain and stayed put while the selfish captain escaped by himself and left the students on their own. they stayed till the very end and sadly passed away.after 7 years it still hurts till this day.
Watching their last moments made it even more painful. The captain gave them false hope, and they were hopeful but deep down they knew it was the end for them. Such young beautiful souls.

Something he should have mentioned was getting as far away from the ship as possible, because when it finally goes under it can create a vortex behind it that sucks things in.
@@akauriashari4905 yeah. Ships are massive and displace a lot of water. The last 1/3 or so will sink really fast, and the empty area gets flooded with water fast enough to suck everything around into the hole with it
Just remember not to stay too much under the lower section on the ship, probably your life could be saved by 10% based on your position on the ship, if something happens like the ship is listing and the captain said to stay put, ignore it, just get out, and stay there, dont immediately jump on the water, who knows if there are something down there like the water is cold or the propelers, dont panic too
Hahaha @@sirankleknocker3122 knw what I was actually afraid of ships but video games helped me getting over it especially Ac Black Flag 😅so nw yes not specifically the pirates ship but u knw big brigs or something like SoT in ur case hehehe😅
"On a lifeboat for several weeks." That is 100% not going to happen. Crews will keep the lifeboat in the near vicinity of the ship as that's the last known location of the ship, also, modern lifeboats and rafts have locator systems. They will know where you are and you will be rescued before a day passes.
The best thing to do is to survive. listen to the instructions .jump in the water but look fort and starboard side and front for any debris. Ask crew for proper jumping procedureS. .... But remember you will jump if no life boat or raft available. .. and remember after jumping swim backwards away from the ship or boats.. or you will be pull under.
Is it possible they will kill each other to survive if they are isolated inside a room with limited oxygen? How many chances? only 5%? So, it is impossible? Is it safe to believe that people are good by nature and they will not do harm to others even if they will die together? Is there a real accident where during the autopsy few of the crew or people inside the sinking ship die because of being stabbed with a knife or something else and not because of asphyxiation caused by no oxygen or water? How about fish? I hope fish didn't eat human flesh.
