I actually agree. At best the gorilla will notice you are punny and not waste his time with you, at worst it will kill you with such absurd force that it will at least end faster than with the sheer intensity of a chimp attack.

That bit about hippos.... Pablo Escabar got himself a private zoo built. After his empire fell, the hippos broke out. So there are invasive Hippos somewhere in the South American Jungle.

My dad went to Africa when he was young the amount of times he almost died is uncountable lions, hippos, everything in Africa nearly killed him including ants he was nearly killed by the people twice as many times as as the animals the lions just cleaned his groups pots didn’t attack the guy who had his feet hanging out of the truck

People from some certain areas of Africa or India need to know this infos. Hippos kill around 500 humans per year, and it's USUALLY isn't the person's fault. They live in areas where there are hippos, they don't have the means to not live there, and sometimes hippos ambush people near the water (and the HAVE to aproach water because there is no plumbing).

Sad fact, there are possibly more tigers privately owned in Texas than in the wilds if India. India has an estimated 3,000 wild tigers while the high end estimation in Texas is about 5,000.
@KamiNoBaka1
@KamiNoBaka1 10 месяцев назад
You call it a sad fact but the majority of tigers in captivity in Texas were bred in captivity and, like Pablo Escobar's escaped hippos that are breeding like mad in the Colombian jungle, it may actually prove to be the thing that keeps them from going extinct.

the most I got out of this, for the most part, is "don't turn your back, DON'T antagonize the thing and prepare to say hello to whatever heaven you go to if nothing works." personally I'd just research shit and equip myself appropriately. like two fake eyes on the back of my head for tigers or, IF ALLOWED, bring a very big gun that'll seriously injure one of those bears because I'll be damned if one of them gets me and emerges completely unscathed. that being said, I'd rather take my chances with a gorilla because so long as you don't do anything they would see as aggression or a challenge or disrespect, you'll most likely live to see another day.

By the way, elephants can really hold grudges. There was a woman that was killed by an elephant and after she was buried, the elephant came back to trample the grave. This was due to the lady killing the elephant’s child.

Automatic thumbs up for viewing Casual Geographic videos Automatic thumbs up for it being one of his funnier videos Automatic thumbs up because the Old Man deserves it Automatic thumbs up for thumbs up sake Cover more Casual Geographic Get his book...it's hilarious Side notes : Look into the story if British Actor Brian Blessed vs a Polar Bear.....you want to talk about men with big brass balls this is one of them. The Orangutan bit...some Orangutans have learned to take things to get food, worse they have figured that if they break the item apart they'll get more food...this has included phones, torches, tools, Opossum's and cats..... And I will never forget hearing about a Kiwi diver when I was last in NZ who would go free diving with White Sharks all over the world...one time in NZ he made the mistake of diving with a Shark he hadn't seen before, closed coffin was a dream...what they got back would have fit in a shoebox

I mean, you might need advice on how to survive a tiger attack if you plan on visiting certain parts of India, for example. Also, hate to break it to you, but pumas live in most of the US. They have one of the largest territorial habitat ranges of any land predator, from the British Columbia in Canada to the Southern tip of Chile. There are parts of the US where they are more common than others, like along the Rocky Mountains, but they have been seen in places like New England and Florida. Fortunately, unless you're getting near their cubs or intentionally antagonizing them, they're generally going to leave you alone. Hell, if you've ever been to a big enough patch of woods, you may have come within 30 feet of one and never even known it was there.

Okay so about to polar bear attack there's one thing I got to say is if I'm going to be in the area that's got polar bears I'm sure as hell going to have a gun that's going to penetrate a polar bear cuz I don't give a damn how strong that bears hide thinks it is 30 ought 6 is going to tear it up and because of how cold is just make sure you bring your rifle medicine

Yeah this video is pretty useless, if you find yourself in any of these situations you probably deserve whatever happens next (and that's why it is so entertaining to watch him talk about it). Didn't we humans spent all our evolution points in skills that would make these encounters less and less likely? Like building skills, it's why we built walls, and cities and stuff, so animals with many times out strenght and speed would not bother coming near us. Seems like a waste of the efforts of our species to disregard that by getting close to an animal that can remove your head with the same motion and less effort necessary to swat a fly away.

Actually the moose one can come in very handy. We have a ton of them here. I grew up in the Canadian countryside and was always more scared of them than bears as a kid because I had to wait by the road for the school bus and you can't see the damn things in the winter darkness, and there was almost always a cow moose and calf somewhere around.
