I'm a disabled single mom of 3. I live off of social security alone. I don't get government assistance or child support. I'm not sure how God does it but I've been able to survive for the past 9 yrs. He's my strength.
I just came across your channel. You seem like a really great guy. I am glad to come across your videos. Your demeanor and good advice makes me value the information you're sharing. Thanks for sharing your wisdom.
I had to learn a lot of things you mentioned on my own. Im a single mom of 2, i was forced to leave an abusve relationship and literally start all over. I was leasing a honda ,and the payments were fine i never missed one, but i did have to pay a lot for my car tags plus my rent went up among other things ,i got smacked all at once and started feeling like it was all too much. I got in a lot debt including student loans and credit card debt. Utilities etc. Life is not about the corporate ladder. Amen. Im still living in my apt but damn the struggle is real, now I have no car. Looking to move out to a smaller apartment wish me luck 🤞
If smaller means you can manage better and paying off that debt, that’s a good plan. I remember sleeping on a small sofa bed, next to my mom’s bed. It’s not a big deal, and it’s temporary
Wow. Thank you! We are a single income family of 6 and what your saying i wish i would of heard 10 years ago. But thankfully with God and someone like you helping us get finances right we are doing well and are so blessed! Its a sacrifice and hard work but so so worth it! Keep up the good work! God bless!
We started in 2012 but both worked. After realizing life was not about how the world says it should be my wife quit her job and I worked on bettering my Career. We were a little late on taking control of our finances so we had to pay some debt off but now we are debt free and building EM fund and investing a little on 65k a year on a normal 40 hour week.. The freedom and joy is amazing. My wife also home schools and it is very rewarding.
@@TommyBryson yes there are quite a few different homeschooling Curriculums you can buy. But she did do alot of research on which ones she thought would work best for our children. So we have a mixture of a few. Its definitely a learning process for us but a fun and a rewarding experience. It can get a little pricey to but if you get involved with your homeschooling community there are alot of people selling the stuff they dont use anymore for a good price and they have good advice. Home schooling is definitely getting big in America so there is a good community around it.
@@gilpin86 i have notice a rise in homeschooling. Here where i live in dominican republic its almost unheard of honestly. But something worth considering for sure. Whats your role as the Dad, with the homeschooling process?
Not cap! Single mom of 4 and I work and pay for my own things. We are not all living on assistance. Frankly it is insulting to people like me when people assume this.
@@Justsayingthat you can be a rare one out of the bunch. But being butthurt about going against the grain, is like wiping the opposite way. It's gunna hurt. And nobody cares. We care about the single ppl with children that can't make it. Oh and I ain't even gunnna look but just based off your profile pic I'd say you're on OF. Or have a sugar dad.
@@Justsayingthat and this is definitely the child of that mom... your moms getting piped down by a handful of dudes right now while you sit at home playing fortnite 🤣
Not true. When I applied for assistance for my kids and me(im a single mom get no child support) DPSS says I make just above the limit and am not eligible for certain programs that offer cash. If I don't make what I make now I really wouldn't be able to afford my rent though.
@@XercesWoop that's not what I said... she's on social security. With three children. Her social security must be pretty high, you work or do whatever it is you do to make over the amount. What I'm saying is if you don't have a job or don't have a liable source of income. They approve you. If they deny you bc you make too much you can appeal it and give them reasons to give it to you. So the chances of her getting it, is more then yours. I have 50/50 of my twins and she's able to get food stamps but I'm not. Bc she puts them on hers, I cannot. These are the variables they need to focus on.
I'm Married w 3 kids. Lol you can deff do it... you'll have to do it when the kids are really young. I see no value added to paying for daycare. Make more money and keep costs down (debt/bills)
