Been struggling to improve breaststroke with timing and everything. Watched so many videos but then watched this and instantly went much faster, was not expecting that at all 🎉. Thanks man, you are a gem!
Very helpful! Other videos may have better production quality, but your teaching, tips and video angles really drive the point of how to swim breastroke properly
Excellent description! Very excited to start swimming and cannot wait to apply this on my lesson when I am able to float without assistance. Big thanks!

Your method is so well studied and organized so that each step follows another one and people can learn it easily and without confusion. Ggoo job coach!
I've seen many swimming videos, you are the best. In breast stroke I was confused if the kick and arm go together or one goes first, you explained and illustrated in an excellent manner.

I started learning swimming with my coach. I saw this video and thought that it was easy to do. I was very sure, I even did movements in my bed in advance. But once I started swimming in pool, I was completely lost like a baby :D I was doing right just for 3-4 seconds only. It seems I need lots of practice (which my coach told me). Thanks a lot for this videos, it helps me much when I see actual underwater movements.

Coach, this video is very helpful to me! Water was never my friend in the past but I see the importance of swimming so I’m learning breaststroke now. Your video had given me good perspective about breaststroke and I’ll practice it! Thank you
You're so welcome! I know how frustrating it can be to work on form and technique, but you've got this! I can't wait to hear how things go for you in the pool. Keep up the great work!
I've got the pull and breath down. My kick is pretty good too, but I need to deal with the glide. Then my SWOLF will improve. Great video, it really improved my pull. Thank you!
Great video just starting to try and swim again had lessons over the years but could not get the technique but your great video and explanation has spured me on to do it this time. So easy when you have a great teacher. Many thanks

Amazing explanation man. I've been planning on going to the pool to do some drills and your explanation have been the most accurate i have found. Thanks
amazing lesson thanks dude, felt a bit dumb at the beginning when you said it was an easy stroke haha but your steps are great; all the best from the UK 👍
You are so welcome! If you ever need more guidance or have questions, feel free to reach out. Keep up the great work and enjoy your swimming journey! 🏊♂️🌟
Very clear and accurate explanation. The only topic that I would like you to discuss is timing. Most swimming coaches say that the kick should occur at the end of the pull. Stroke, Kick and Glide in this order. To be honest I have always had difficulty to kick just after performing the stroke. It is as if I were breaking the rhythm. Thank you very much !
Thank you for your insightful comment! I will definitely create a more detailed video on timing and rhythm of Breaststroke. Remember, it's okay to find certain aspects challenging, and with practice and patience, you can improve your rhythm and coordination in the water. Keep up the great work, and thank you for your feedback!
Thank you for the video. At 55, i had never swam the breaststroke until this morning. It wouldnt havent happened without the instruction which gave me enough courage to suck at something new. But tomorrow morning, I’ll suck less. Thanks!
I am so proud of you that you have taken the initiative to learn swimming! You're an inspiration for a lot of swimmers. It would be great if you record your swim journey and share the footages with us so we can share it with our subscribers. Don't hesitate to reach me out if you have any questions or difficulties learning any stroke. Also, thank you so much for such kind words. They mean a lot to me.
I've been swimming breastbone for 70 years and just learned the following from your excellent video: the arms should go down perpendicular to the body and not swept back further below the body, bring the arms forward with the palms pointing upwards before joining the hands in prayer position, legs brought close to the backside and turn feet outwards when kicking, start the kick when the arms are halfway to fully extended and not to wait forthe kick when you start the glide. I hope I understood and thanks a lot.
You've picked up some valuable insights from the video, and I'm glad to hear that you found it helpful after swimming breaststroke for many years! Keep practicing, and you'll likely notice further improvements in your swimming. If you have any more questions or need additional guidance, feel free to ask. Happy swimming!
Your method is more simple and easy to understand. I need to help my daughter with an effective breast stroke kick. Gonna share this video with my daughter. Thank you so much.

I am needing to learn this Breaststroke style because I'm in the Navy and there's swimming test on this and I'm a non swimmer so hopefully I can master this skill and clear it.
I watched lot of youtube videos and found this masterpiece, perfectly and thoroughly explained everything. Thanks for the video. Though it’s easier to watch on youtube while applying not able to do this properly. And my trainer makes fun of me, instead of correcting it. Problem is my legs automatically goes down when I come out for breathing.
I'm glad you found the video helpful! Remember, learning to swim takes time and patience, and everyone progresses at their own pace. As for your legs sinking when you breathe, it's a common issue that many swimmers face. Focus on maintaining a strong and steady kick, and try practicing breathing drills to improve your technique. Don't be discouraged by setbacks - keep practicing, and you'll get there!
@@RocketSwimming Thank you for your reply and motivation. I was feeling inferior because my trainer used to insult me, but you really understood my problem even I didn’t share much. Thanks a lot. This is trait of good trainers. We need trainers like you. If possible could you explain more about what does strong & steady kick means?
Thank you so much for your positive feedback! I am glad that you found this video helpful. Let me know if you have any questions or video requests okay? - Niraj (CDO)

Dude you are brilliant. Keep up the good work. Just a random question, out of all strokes which stroke is llightest on the shoulders and which one is the hardest on the shoulders...... I have a little shoulder issue. Wanted to know regarding that. I do swimming for cardio only and i am 48 years old. Thanks
Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you're enjoying the video. As for the question about strokes and their impact on the shoulders, it's difficult to say which stroke is the lightest on the shoulders because it can depend on a variety of factors such as technique, body type, and fitness level. However, generally speaking, breaststroke and backstroke may be easier on the shoulders than freestyle (front crawl) and butterfly, as these strokes involve less overhead arm movement and rotational force on the shoulders. That being said, it's always a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional or a swimming coach if you have a shoulder issue, as they can help you determine which strokes and techniques may be best for your individual situation. In the meantime, it's important to listen to your body and avoid any exercises or activities that cause pain or discomfort. - Niraj (CDO)

Thank you so much! You should do dryland feet flexing drills. Search on google "feet flexing drills" and you'll find a lot of results. It may be the mobility issue with your ankle. Keep me posted.
You're welcome! Make sure to check the kicking part of this video and practice the points mentioned. Basically, your kick generates most of the power in breaststroke. You have to flex your feet and squeeze as hard as you can to redirect water back. - Niraj (CDO)
Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad that my instructions were helpful and easy to follow. Keep practicing and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. Good luck with your breaststroke!

Hi coach, this video is amazing.. very clear explanation. can people above 40+ can try this style. or let me know is there any maximum age limit is there in general for learning BREAST STROKE or BUTTERFLY STROKE
Thank you so much for your compliments. It all depends on your fitness level to learn something new in any age. Breaststroke is little tricky but a lot of swimmers in their 40s do swim breaststroke. I suggest you to start slow. Learn breaststroke kick by practice slowly while holding the wall. Knee ligament injuries are common but can be avoided with the correct technique. Keep me posted on your progress, okay?
Thank you! I'm glad you found the explanation excellent! If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask. Happy swimming! 👍😊🏊♂️
