How To Switch From Integrated GPU To Dedicated GPU [ AMD / NVIDIA ] Best Method - Desktops / Laptops

I literally spent so much of my money on a gaming latop 2 years ago and I recently bought GTA IV (yes, four) and got 50fps on medium settings and I couldn't find a way to force it to run on the dedicated GPU. Are you planning to upgrade the RAM and add SSD on your TUF gaming laptop? Armoury crate automatically enables the dedicated GPU on TUF / ROG laptops right?

Those who have a ryzen igpu and a dedicated gpu, this might not necessarily work for you. Reason first off if both yoyr gpus are of different companies, like igpu is of Ryzen 3 2200g and gpu is gt 710, and your pc is connected to gt 710, or vice versa. You need to install the drivers of the one you need to connect to. And make sure the hardware (gpu) is connected to the mothetboard.

I spent like 4-5 fricking hours finding out a way to do this and i hope this works

I'm playing CoD Vanguard now, but now I have problem with it, before I just change the videocard in game from Vega 8 to Rx560x and it's work, but after the Chrismast update of Vanguard I can't change it, after I choose to Rx560x, it restart the game but when I'm in game it still on Vega 8, so low FPS, I did everything like you did in this video but it not working, is that game's error or my laptop error? Ah I still can play Warzone on Rx560x but with Vanguard I can't play on Rx560x.

Hi , I am using the same laptop, Any Idea why the laptop starts to lag every 3 seconds when the battery drops to 50% , After hitting 50% I normaly put the charger all the time.

Brilliant video! I have an issue though. Amended all the power options, went to graphics settings. Picked the app/game and selected options. Under both high performance and low performance options it has the integrated card selected. Dedicated one will just not show up. It's there, as it shows up in the Radeon Adrenaline Software. But windows wont show/select it. any ideas on a fix? Liked and subscribed anyway. Great video.

I have a HP Pavilion EC15 101 Model. my discrete gpu gtx 1060 is not working properly and cant now use my HDMI to connect external display. I have done every trouble shooting I can such as reinstalling the drivers and installing new one, also triedd installing outdated version to see if it will work but still not working. I wanna ask if I can use my intel graphic to be able to use my hdmi port. P.S. I cant access chipset setting in BIOS. Help.
