Switch from Intel to Nvidia! If you have a laptop or other computer using 2 graphics card this is the tutorial for you. When Intel graphics is included some games and software run using it, but if you have a dedicated stronger Nvidia or AMD card you want to make sure windows uses that instead, this is how.

Damn Dude, you have a lot of dedication to helping people. Even almost 1.5 years later, you are still responding to comments even with over 1000 comments on this. My Nvidia 1050 had been playing up and running things like Scp at 7 frames but now that I've changed these settings it's now back up to a capped 80

@@andrewmathew3254 in the left bottom corner, open the search option and search for device manager. You'll get a list with all kinds of possible devices, look for display adapters. It should say what you have right there.

Thank you so much! I recently got a gaming laptop, and then I got Path of Exile. When I opened up the in-game settings, it said the game was running the Intel Graphics, and then it didn't let me change the graphics, saying that I needed to change the GPU to the designated one. Now, I won't have problems with my games in the future because of this awesome tutorial! By the way, I love the Swedish accent. Thank you once again!

i didn't need this tutorial, but a watch this anyway because i found it interesting how you can change water or not certain programs will use your graphic card or your cpu's integrated graphics. and i thought if you had a graphics card you would only use that for processing video/graphics

I didnt really get the last part since for me, all it said in the power selection was "Extended battery life for gaming" "Enable" "Disable" My default was enable so idk if it would be the best... Beside that, great video! Things run way smoother now, and I could finally feel that I'm using what I paid for from the graphics card hahaa. Thanks!

Tysm! My friend recently got a laptop with a supposed GTX 1650. But when he started playing his games he was getting terrible performance because it was for some reason running on his Radeon Vega 10 integrated graphics. I spent about an hour trying to fix the stupid problem by trying to fiddle with the display and device manager. Until I found this video, and literally fixed the entire problem! Thank you again so much for finding a solution! Helped a lot!

When i install the Amd Adrenalin driver, my laptop goes into BSOD after some time with the error driver stuck in thread device or something like this. It keeps restarting until the windows corrupts and needs reinstalling. I am afraid to install it one more time as it has done it 2 times.

in manage 3d option when I selected high performance NVIDIA processor then tried apply the setting so this showed that "access denied failed to apply selected setting to your system" why is this so?

I installed Windows server 2019 On my new computer and i can't see anything on the screen i don't have Dvi on screen windows server is probably not supporting my motherboard or i don't have drivers or windows server can be run only on graphics card.

Try to update your GPU drivers from the nvidia website or the software, both are the same. Hope it works

daniel vb this might be a solution for it go to the windows search bar then search GeForce experience then create an account and then click the drives icon on top then update your driver from there
