How to sync android contacts to Gmail/Google contacts

This tutorial explains how you can take backup of your android phone contacts to your Google account. After sync, if you add a contact on your device, it will automatically get added to your Google account and it works vice versa.
Similarly, if you delete a phone contact it will automatically get deleted from your Google account.
You can access your contacts from apps icon in Gmail or you can access them from www.contacts.google.com.
Tutorial also explains troubleshooting steps that you can take, if you face any difficulty during sync process.

Really thankful to you for sharing this video, really it works, I was facing challenges past 10 days. My 1200 contacts were not getting synchronised after my factory reset. After that I downloaded VCF file, then I got back my all contacts but still facing one challenge, whatever contact number I am saving in mobile not getting saved in Google contact.

Between May 7 and May 28 I added 700 contacts to phone and also put them in various groups. But when I was replacing my phone, realised that these contacts have not been saved in Gmail Contacts as they were not syncing since May 7. Then created a VFC file and transferred contacts to new phone. But still these 700 contacts have not synced to GMail. I checked out whatever you shown have video. But have still not been able to sync. Will be very grateful if you could advise on how to sync.

I have tried all possible ways to SYNC my Android contacts to my Gmail account. On the phone it always seemed successful but when I signed onto my Gmail account I couldn't find the newly sync-ed or imported contacts. I finally was able to do it manually by Exporting it to a .csv file then email it as attachment to my Gmail account thanks to instruction from your video. Thank you for that however can you explain why SYNC didn't work as expected?

Thank you for the video. Does all my video and pictures just saved on Gmail. I have a syncing on my Gmail account But not sure if the video and pictures guessing that the same time. I know I seen pictures but I'm not sure if it saves my video as well. I've never backed up my phone before. I having trouble with my phone for the past couple of days. I need to factory restore my phone but I'm afraid to erase my pictures and my video. I'm worried about my SIM card. Could you give me more information on this and explain it to me like simpler form and slowly. Thank you.

It is very nice I transferred all my contacts from mob to pc but in my mob all the contacts repeated twice thrice so to avoid this what should I do now? secondly if I want to delete one or two contacts in pc only then how to do this? The solution for the Google Contacts problem is very easy. Disable the energie power save button and it will sync directly!

using desktop 1st download that .vcf file then open www.contacts.google.com, press "more" option then select "import" and choose the downloaded file from desktop and give ok
