Top advice , I’ve fallen foul of this many times , but you just have to suck it up , you also find some decent customers who recognise the fact you have underpriced and pay you a bit extra which always softens the blow! We live and learn !
Good advice as per usual Chris 👍 The amount of times I got caught out in the old days ( before Google earth and maps ) not knowing if the customer had a conservatory round the back was numerous 😕!!!!
Sound advice Chris, I always honour the price in those situations as you say. Even when the customer is happy to pay the extra I say it's my fault not there's. Shows integrity which is massive in anyones book. Even on those gutter clears lol. Unfortunately messing up is how we learn best.
If its your round, raise the prices; if you're purchasing a round with underpriced work on it, use it to negotiate a better price from the seller.....or walk away.
