How To Take A SCREENSHOT - Galaxy Note 9

I prefer the 3 finger swipe down of many other Android phones out there, or even Huawei's double knock. Palm swipe is cumbersome and unpredictable. Is there a way to customize?

Power button and Volume down by far is the best screen shot taker, because you can do SCROLL CAPTURES.

Hi Jimmy you forgot one lol...add take screen shot to the edge panels....really fast and handy....on the other hand I forgot Bixby so i added another one....not a fan of using buttons....i always get it wrong. If I know 3 ways how to do something and there's another way I want to know about it. Great video and thanks for expanding my knowledge a little bit more.

Appreciated 5his video. Loved all these ways but because the stylus pops out its easy to do that or I'm used to pressing the 2 buttons from my note 3 days. The palm slide looks 😎 but haven't done that yet.

There is one more that i might have missed in the comments... With the S Pen instead of hitting the Screen Write you can use smart select and use the box to capture what you truly want on the screen... it lets you skip the cropping of a screen shot.

1. When I'm using my phone single handed I use edge panel. 2. When using two handed or the phone lay on a table I use palm swipe. 3. When I need specific/small portion of screen capture, use the S Pen.

Power & volume down for me is easier. I purchased note 9 is faster. My old mobile was note 3. I like only Samsung😍👍. Thanks for your demonstration.

I always use my palm. My original Note was a Note 2 not long after they were released and it had that feature. It started dying so I changed to the new Note 4 and IT had that feature as well. The Note 4 is starting to die so now using a Note 9 and palm swipe is the easiest of the lot. You dont have to fiddle around getting the S-Pen out which, BTW, is annoying compared to my previous Note 4 and 2 and you dont have to do anything like being in a crowded coffee place and start talking to your phone while people are around you. Have you noted how hard it is to get Bixby to just react in a quiet place? Imagine that in a noisy place. Eventually you would be screaming HEY BIXBY at the top of your voice while the riot squad appears and takes you to Homeland Security Bixby division for people who are almost religiously dedicated to their Galaxy Note phones but are now screaming at them! It would be enough to make them think you are going postal!!

Thanks for the tip, i use palm swipe for most of my phones, note 8, but note especially with the screen protector fixed seems to be difficult to use Palm swipe

Just a small point, but you don't have to swipe from edge to edge. Just a tiny swipe from left to right will do. It's very sensitive. So that's my favorite technique. In one-handed use which is rare on the Note 9, I use the third-party app Swiftly Switch and the screenshot option given there

Great video. I've never been able to use palm swipe reliably, always seems to swipe the screen over. I use the S pen all the time, although bixby is an easy way too.

I miss the ability of taking a screenshot w/ the S-Pen by placing the tip on the screen and holding the button. I used that on my Note 4 a lot.

I use palm swipe the most and at times I use Google assistant to take a screenshot on my note 9

I use the palm swipe alot, but many times when I do swipe my hand advances the photo or image on the screen to the right making it impossible for me to activate the screenshot feature.
