I really liked your comment, and I agree with about 90% of it, especially the part about dating apps. However, I think sending messages on Instagram can be a good way for introverted people to establish connections, and it's not necessarily a recipe for failure. Nowadays, people use these methods, both good and bad, for communication.

It really depends. I am quite big on walking upto someone in a cafe and talking but I test the waters being friendly rather than flirty to see how we gel. The key is to make sure you read the signs right and not cause any sort of discomfort. I've been turned down probably as many times as someone has said yes but most of the time because of my approach, the rejections are also pretty decent. There are rare unpleasant occasions where the key is not to feel bad if the person you approach turns out to be very rude or arrogant. You should be happy that you were shown the red flag voluntarily. I do believe looks and how you talk makes a huge impact in these situations and I think I am pretty decent looking but at the same time I never get scared of approaching someone way above my league as well. Coz fortune favours the brave😂
