Hi is there any special trick to actually split the gearbox? Your video moved from taking the bolts out to having the gbox items in the vice, thanks appreciate the video
Hi thanks for the question so when you remove the extension housing first the you remove the retainer the roundish one with 3 bolts than you just loosen all circlips than you take it of the bell housing the bell housing is the one that bolt onto the engine than you just remove the gears if your confuse about which gear is which your smallest is your 5th and your pilot shaft is your 4th so you just follow remove the forks than the counter shaft will be at your mercy... hope it helps I will make a video about it in detail and show which gear is which and what comes where how to spot damaged parts and how to remove and put back together be blessed God bless
You can use a press if it got hot and drove without oil if it did not you can use a gas flame too heat it up and a little tip if in any case according to my knowledge if it's making a noise it is very likely for you pilot shaft an clutchergear is also damage so take a look at that two also if you put it back like that it will still drive but the will be a high possibility that it would make a noise
When you removed all the bolts like I did and you turn it to the part that goes to the engine you will see a retainer that take a release bearing with 3 bolts remove the circling first then u good
