Bleached my hair a few weeks ago, just the tips tho, and there will be some breakage (per usual with 4c hair), but it’s nothing to major, in my case my hair has seemed to break off a lot less than before I bleached it :)
@@rejesus7106no the bleach looses your curls up so if your hair is like 4c itll loosen the curls making it look defined but someone with 3c hair might look wavy after dying it
i did the skunk stripe on my hair . i never died it before . i bleached it then added the color . i haven’t had my hair done since may and i’m getting my hair braided soon and i’m scared my hair is going to be damaged when i take my braids out .
I feel you sis! Only you know the true state of your hair but I’m assuming that it probably won’t be damaged beyond repair! Dying your hair and doing drastic things to it just makes it require a little extra tlc! Be sure to deep condition it, keep it moisturized, and keep in some low maintenance, low tension styles! And it will probably be fine ❤️
I dyed my hair 7 months ago and so far I am in love with it, I never did the trimming part and honestly I don't think that I need it, but there are a few procedures that I follow on my Chanel
I’m so nervous because I dyed my hair twice within three weeks but I’ve been caring it a lot, leave in conditioner oil twisting it leaving treatment over night but it’s sooo dry no how much care it’s scaring me
Yes mam! To my knowledge all color will fade at least a little bit as time progresses as you wash. However it can probably be minimized by using products that help resist color fading and by using a good quality hair dye! 😊💗
I got my hair trimmed yesterday and I have recently dyed my hair ginger like 2 weeks ago and some of my hair have breakage so I have tried oils and kept it braided so it keeps it protected and keep it growing I’ve been trying to keep it healthy
If it got on your scalp then I recommend trying a natural oil on your scalp if you don’t already. And for your hair I definitely just recommend any moisturizing leave in conditioner that’s meant to add moisture. And also, use products that are free of sulfates, parabens, etc. and most importantly, be gentle with your hair 😭💯 most breakage comes from people doing stuff to they hair like detangling it improperly or styling it too much.

Hey there! No need to apologize! :) Thank you for asking! I would definitely say follow the tips in the video but in short, use sulfate free shampoos most times and maybe a sulfate/clarifying shampoo every once in a while if you feel like you need it to really deep clean your hair/scalp or get rid of build up. Condition often and deeply. and maybe most importantly, be gentle with your hair! Don't use harsh detangling methods and wear low maintenance styles. If you do these things you'll probably be fine. This is from my experience. :)
As far as I know, heat protectant works well to prevent some damage but there’s no guarantee it will prevent your hair from heat damage, especially when it’s already in a fragile state.

I would recommend waiting just a little because freshly dyed hair can be prone to dryness sometimes (from what I know) and braiding hair may or may not help. I recommend seeking further opinion on this one! I'm not one-hundred percent sure. :)
@@angelo9399 steam your braids using a moisturiser and then seal with some grease. This never fails to keep my hair HIGHLY moisturised when I take it out of my braids.
I usually buy cheap stuff! I love mielle organics leave in conditioner (the one with Avacado I think), I like Africa’s best mayonnaise deep conditioner! Those are a few! :)
im getting my hair locked and i wanna dye it but last time my hair broke off so bad.. i honestly think the person who did it did it wrong and it was sum cheap box dye i think but then again idk.
I’m sorry sis I understand struggle! The best advice I can give is to keep it clean, deep conditioned, and use very low maintenance on it. High maintenance/over manipulation of hair is probably the biggest thing that leads to breakage. Good luck! ❤️🥰
